I purchased 1 of these about 2 years ago. it worked so well that I purchased 3 more of another brand thinking that all were somewhat similar. That brand was made of soft slippery material and would not stay on my dog. I have a older small (16 lb) dog with a leakage problem so I wanted something that would be washable, stay on and accomodate an appropriate pad. I then ordered 3 more of the Simple Solutions brand. In stead of the small absorbent pads that are recommended for these diapers, I use a women's ultimate absorbency bladder protection pad (long) (Like Poise but generic) which I cut in half. It fits perfectly in the medium size diaper and will absorb a nights worth of urine without leakage. Now the dog and I both can sleep thru the night without worrying about "accidents".
