Great authentic 5 spice flavor
Great flavor for 5 spice. Huge container, picture is after I cooked with it at least 3 times and each time only needing about 1-2 tea spoon. This will literally last years! The seasoning flavor is as expected and smells amazing. The cap for spoon or dusting is great as well, though for portion sizing most ppl will probably use the larger spoon option.

Best, most versatile five spice
Best five spice blend out there, I just wish they weren't discontinuing it. It goes both sweet and savory with ease. Now I have to figure out the ratios when it runs out.

Good product for the price
It's nice but not the same flavor I'm used to from a different brand Simply Organic. A few of my friends seem to really like it and I will definitely continue to use it.

Good way to get a decent amount for the Kitchen if you use this spice.
This is a very versatile spice used in many recipes. One interesting fact is that the Northern Ribs at PF Chang's includes a small dish of dry rub with this in it if you order the dry version of the ribs. That powder consists of 50 percent salt and 50 percent Chinese Fice Spices.

Air fryer or smoker
At my house we eat the hello out of five spice chicken. Normally we marinated our chicken thighs overnight then cooked them up in the air fryer. Wouldn’t you know it? Air fryer died so we switched to plan B-the smoker. What a great decision. (We just bought our smoker this year and it’s the best decision we’ve made this year) Recipe -One package of chicken thighs with skin and bone (no, don’t substitute chicken breasts unless you just love fry a$$ chicken meat) -1/2 cup light oil -1/2 cup soy sauce -3 minced garlic cloves -1 Tbsp minced ginger -squeeze half a lime -2 tsp fish sauce -1 Tbsp rice wine vinegar -1 Tbsp 5 spice Mix all this loveliness together in a ziplock bag and marinate overnight. Next day dump the marinade and throw the chicken on your smoker set to 250 degrees f until the inside measures around 160-165 degrees f. While it’s smoking make some rice and a tasty salad. This is so delicious that you’ll be glad you bought this big boy. You can buy a small bottle at some grocery stores but they are normally mad expensive. And please do NOT use instant rice. If you don’t have a real rice cooker, buy one now for gawds sake. You’re all a bunch of foodie heathens.

Great seasoning in many Asian cooking.
Tough increase in costs. This is a great mix of seasoning and priced at a much higher price in small glass container purchasing at least 250% more in most stores.

Tastes like it should
I go through lots of this spice blend and got tired of paying so much for so little at the grocery store. The flavor and quality is spot on and now I don't feel so bad using this stuff in excess. Tastes fresh for what it is and very pleased.
