4.5 Delicious Stars, more please....NOW
Like other reviewers have mentioned, it would just be wrong to summarize this story. Never have I read a story before that leaves me speechless for writing this review. I went in thinking that one of three things was sure to happen by the end, but I am so happy I was wrong, very creative plot....BUT...this can't be the end of Josh and Avery's story, I swear I'll have to throw my kindle in the fireplace if we don't get more and soon! The entire book was great, but wait until you get to the 80% marker and prepare for your jaw to drop. The only reason this is 4.5 and not 5 fabulous stars for me is because a lot of the scene/chapter transitions were abrupt and confusing, so much so that there were a few times that I panicked, thinking I got a faulty download on my kindle and I found myself having to go back and read a couple pages over to make sure I didn't miss a page, or if one scene really moved on to the next as abruptly as it did. This was distracting because in every other respect, this story demands the reader to move forward, read on, not look back. Do not pass this one by, and please, please, please tell me there's more to come with this story!

Prepare to Be Shocked
Actual rating: 4.5 starsThis book just blew my mind...literally, I am so blown away by that ending that I actually needed a couple of days to process it and be able to write my review. But holy cow, this book is an instant must read. I will admit, it took me a little bit to get into the book. While I love Jamie McGuire, and I love her for giving me (and all readers) the gift of Travis Maddox, I haven't loved anything as much as that original book. And at first, this book started off the same way. But by about a little before halfway in, I was invested and really interested to see what the outcome of Josh and Avery's story would be. But literally nothing could have prepared me for the ending. It was BRILLIANT!I can honestly say that I have never read a book like this before, and I applaud both of these authors for taking the risk of how they ended this novel. Personally, I thought it was pure genius because you can't even pick up any hints throughout the book of what the ending is. I know I'm being extremely vague here, but it's best to go into this book completely blind and let yourself be shocked by the ending. Now, not everyone will love this ending. In fact, a lot of people were very confused by it or thought it was an easy out by the authors. However, I didn't think it was that confusing, nor did I think it was an easy out. I think it was a risk, and for many readers that risk will pay off and leave them with their mouths open and desperate to go back and re-read the book because they want to see if they missed anything or could pick up any subtle clues that were dropped along the way (I was this person haha). Others though will absolutely hate that risk, and end up not liking the book. So the best way to find out?? Read it! The ending made me love the entire book much more than when I was reading it the first time, and during that re-read--and knowing the ending-- it made me truly treasure Josh and Avery's story.I loved Avery's character. She was sarcastic and a very strong female lead. Josh, who was desperate to go on a single date with Avery, made me crack up time and time again. I loved the lengths he went to just to make her smile. However, the thing I loved most about their relationship was how real it was. They went through normal couple squabbles, and honestly, they reminded me (not completely mind you) of Travis and Abby. That same authentic vibe was there, and it won me over.Honestly, this is one of those stories that must be read and lived through the characters. All I can tell you is that this is a truly unique experience that you have to discover on your own. While it might not be a hit for everyone, I absolutely loved this book. And if you can get through some of the parts that are just a bit boring, it's very much worth it in the end.Happy reading :)

Good read
I always read reviews before I purchase a book just to get a feel of the book and how others feel about it. I must say, I was a bit wary about reading the reviews especially the comments about the ending. I was afraid it would end with dissatisfaction and I'd be disappointed. However, I will say for those of you who are wary, like I was, read it. It's not as bad as it sounds. Yes, it's a bit of a loose end and I can understand other's need for it to be wrapped up nicely but I was okay with it. I took it as a happy ending. It's more like the author let the readers use their own imagination for the ending ending! The authors pretty much steer us towards the ending I think we all want. The book is about Avery and Josh whom work together at a hospital and end up in an accident together. It brings them closer and they fall in love and go through the stages of relationship. Most of the book is about them working on their relationship - overcoming obstacles and growing together over the course of 2 years. Then in the last 80% or so, you get thrown a curve ball. A twist that you may or may not have seen coming. As the book dwindle downs, you start to sweat and wonder if the end will be a HEA or will it be a cliffhanger that moves on to another book? Let me just say, there is no cliffhanger and no second book (confirmed by the authors). My take on the ending is, it is a HEA whereas it goes where I hoped it would.I loved the Beautiful Disaster series by Jamie McGuire so I knew I had to buy this one. The relationship between Avery and Josh does remind me a bit of Travis and Abby. It was a good read over. Starts off good, then kind of slows down until the twist at the end.

Wow!
I hadn't read a review before reading this book so expected a normal happy love story like I have read in the past .... I was so wrong! I have laughed, I have cried, I have got and a Avery and Josh and most of all I have been left with my mouth well and truly open in shock! Without giving anything way, this is truly a fantastic story with superb characters that I really felt I got to know well. It was definitely not what I expected. So so happy I read the story but my mind is still going 100 miles an hour trying to process it all!

Sweet Nothing.
This was an unusual and unique story and one that I haven't read before and I found it very enjoyable. because I knew there was a twist to the story I was frantically trying to work out what it was and guessed correctly at about 20% of the story so it wasn't such a shock to me when it was revealed. I don't think there will be a part two this feels like a stand alone novel which is a shame because I would like to read more about Avery and Josh. I liked the collaboration of the authors and thought they wrote a beautiful story together and hope there is more to come from them as a writing team.

Rollercoaster of a read
Totally not what I was expecting. An absolutely fantastic read. Not one of those books you can put done for an hour or several whilst you work and certainly not in the middle of a chapter as its quite easy to forget who your reading. But man oh man what a wonderful read it was.
