Iconic horror actor Jack Taylor (Jess Franco's SUCCUBUS and FEMALE VAMPIRE, THE VAMPIRE'S NIGHT ORGY) owns the screen in WAX, starring as the malevolent Dr. Knox, a sadistic, cannibalistic surgeon who traps a young journalist (Jimmy Shaw) in his haunted wax museum, subjecting him - and in turn, the audience - to a night of mind-melting terror. Inspired by the classic film HOUSE OF WAX, Knox dresses up like its star, Vincent Price, stalking through the dark amidst his gallery of eerie wax figures, unleashing unimaginable torments upon his victims. Recalling the gory, glory days of classic 1970's Spanish horror films, WAX rounds out its cast with such storied actors as Geraldine Chaplin (daughter of Hollywood legend Charlie Chaplin), Lone Fleming (TOMBS OF THE BLIND DEAD) and the voice of the late, iconic Spanish fantasy film superstar Paul Naschy (FURY OF THE WOLFMAN, COUNT DRACULA'S GREAT LOVE) in what is his final credited film appearance. Co-written and directed by rising Spanish filmmaker Victor Matellano (the upcoming remake of Jose Larraz's VAMPYRES), WAX sports plenty Gothic atmosphere, gruesome, gory violence and more than one serpentine plot twist.
