Push-Button Diverter plug for Delta Model: RP2865

Really high tech...a brass plug complete with rubber o-ring. Yes, it works, but how do you justify that price? This should be a $1.29 item, but since you have to have it and apparently only Delta makes it, they took lessons from the pharmaceutical industry and priced it at $17. I guess I should be grateful, Delta lists it at $25. Danco, here is an opportunity you seem to be overlooking...you need to be making these. And by the way, Delta...how do you justify not including this in the RP54870 Renovation Kit? It is a must-have to install the kit, and leaving it out just artificially lowers the apparent price of the kit and frustrates your customers when they discover they have to order it before they can complete the installation of the kit..

It worked just fine and fixed my issue, but this is an INSANE price for a bolt! Delta sold shower faucets with a horrible push button diverter thingy and instead of making it easy for the customer to convert it back to a simple Bath Spout Diverter system they decide to gouge you for the bolt!DELTA - IT'S A BOLT! SO STOP SWINDLING YOUR CONSUMERS!This simple price gouge makes me not want to ever buy from DELTA again.

Installed a conversion kit on my old delta ball style tub and shower. Plug fit the pipe where the diverter was perfectly, no leaks.

Perfect fit. Expensive for what it is, but couldn't have remodeled shower without it.

Why is this the only thing that fits that dated push thing? Idk but it saved me hundreds!
