I never get tired of watching this awesome Goldie Hawn Film, it brings together Ethics, Common Sense, The Underdog ends up the Heroine ! Worth the time invested as a pick me up when feeling bummed or discouraged, this one always lifts my spirits and recharges my Tenacity to restore clarity and Reason, Whole heart and Passion to stick to what your gut is telling you, Courage of convictions to Own your stuff knowing you don't learn much in life if you don't actually make some missteps along the way/key is learn from them especially the one where we learn not to be PLAYED by others !

Well shot, well acted, factually incorrect here and there, this film is fairly decent from when I remember seeing it all those years ago. Seeing a hidef transfer via a stream from Amazon really helps accentuate the solid visuals used in this film.Hawn, the "girl with short blonde hair" plays the object of romantic interest for a Calif of some non-descript Middle Easter (Arabic) nation, like a Yeman or Oman, and sets his heart on someone who seems right for him.The film is somewhat cliché, and by that I mean some of the visual montages used to sell the idea that Hawn's character is a national sensation, to me, don't really ring as being true. But then again, that's kind of what movies are for, but even so a little more plot explanation, I think, was needed to help bolster her character's success to better explain the troubles that result from that success.Either way it's a fun little film, even if implausible (even for a romcom). It has a lot of funny parts, and it might have been more than what it already is. See it once.

If I had the power to insist, every student in our educational system would watch this and the original RED DAWN before they could graduate high school:) So many moments where those in political power show they aren't acting on the behalf of "We The People" and it resonates in the halls of Washington today. Thank you for reminding me that I am - "We The People" and I/We need to hold those in Washington accountable.

This movie is underrated.....I love it! Funny, romantic and a tiny bit of adventure. Just a fun, feel good movie for all!

Product arrived a day early. The DVD has more scratches on it than I expected from the condition report, but it plays perfectly well, so no deduction for that. The case, however, has most of the teeth securing the DVD broken off, so it just rattles around inside the case.

I decided to catch up on all thr great 80s movies from my childhood. Really wish i could've bought this on blu ray but seems like the good ones never are. This movie is just okay. Seems like old times is a far superior movie than this one...by far! With that said...this is a movie you can watch but not one you are dying to see once a month. It was worth the used price but definitely not worth 22 bucks on dvd!

When I received the dvd of Protocol, I couldn't wait to watch the film. I have not seen the film in a while and have been trying to find it in the normal shops such as HMV. When I seen it on amazon I did not hesitate in wanting to watch it. Really enjoyed it and brought back good memories.

Too bad it is difficult to get a DVD of this, but finally we succeeded. It is one of those traditional small American films which grows when you watch it. Time has not rendered it politically incorrect, on the contrary.

This is another classic Goldie Hawn film. Maybe not her best, but well worth a look if you haven't seen it before.
