'Ganymede' Men's Automatic Watch with Full Calendar

Stops working off & on & band is cracking claims to be leather looks like plastic to me, this watch has not been used often, just not worth the money.

I returned this watch, among other issues the minor dials on the face were impossible to read. great service and easy return though

I like the watch, it's distinctive-looking and interesting without being gaudy. It's thicker than I anticipated but not badly so, I have wrists as slim as most any guy you'll meet and it fits comfortably. It has the day of the month, month, day of the week, 24-hour dial (which is NOT independent of the main dial), and automatic winder complications.Note: This is not a moon-phase watch. The moon phase complication (which shows the ACTUAL phase of the moon) is not that common, so if that is what you want make sure you do your homework. What many of them have is a sun/moon dial sitting behind a windowed 24-hour clock, showing a little picture of a sun or a moon. The up side of this is, when someone asks me the time I can tell them, at a glance, "Daytime."Also Note: This watch doesn't have a perpetual calendar, i.e. it doesn't know how many days are in each month and the day of the week dial doesn't know what year it is so must be set separately. Most wrist watches don't have the extra complications for that. In this case the day of the month and such are updated manually when you lose days at the end of short months.I'd give this watch a 5, but it's mostly just a nice watch. If it was the exact same watch with a real moon phase, if it had a perpetual calendar, or if it had emerald faces instead of hardened mineral crystal then maybe I'd give it a 5.

This is a fantastic watch and a good value. I have had this watch for about a month and a half and wear it frequently. When not wearing the watch for a day or so, I keep it in a watch winder to ensure that it stays wound and continues to keep accurate time. The watch is not too large or too heavy and is very comfortable to wear. The watch band has a deployment buckle, which works very well and is a good fit for my medium size wrist. The large numbers on the dial and large silver hands are easy to read against the black face. The case and deployment buckle are highly polished. You will need to be careful with the buckle, because it can be scratched when in contact with hard surfaces such as desk or table tops. The watch was well packaged in a nice wooden case and includes a soft travel pouch. This is a great looking watch.

I bought this for my uncle birthday. It comes in a beautiful wooden box and it looks like it supposed to look, great! It is a fully automatic watch and it runs with no problems at all. Is very exact and they've used very good quality materials, therefor you can't go wrong buying this watch.

My husband had the watch before and it was ruined in a car accident. So this was a replacement. So glad I was able to find it!

I recently bought Ganymede and literally it arrived the next day I placed my order.About the watch, I must tell you I cannot be happier with it. This is not my only watch, it is neither my most premium watch. But it certainly is my favourite. Not only I love the design, I enjoyed the opening experience so much. The packaging, the presentation was excellent. It is not pretentious, just elegant in a simple way. I will definitely consider buying another watch from Eric Edelhausen. Great brand!
