have a steady hand with decent vision
The fumes from the dye were pretty strong but nonetheless expected. Made my eyes want to shut as soon as the comb got close. That being said try your best not get chemicals in your eyeball. I took the advice from other reviews and I can corroborate that jojoba oil on the skin near the lash line helps prevent staining. Just know that once you add the gel, the pigment develops strongly and almost immediately. So just be prepared for that. To me what that really matters is that the dye penetrated my lash fibers well. Except the roots! It’s hard to get super close to the lash line without smudging the first time, at least for me. My slight struggle could be due to my eye shape. (Deep set/almond/slightly hooded) And I wasn’t sure exactly how much product to use. Either way, I will def be buying again. It’s been a month and they haven’t really faded. Makes my eyes pop oh so subtly without makeup. I felt like I looked like a boy without makeup before with my super blonde invisible lashes. I can’t wait to master this routine so that my roots stay dark. I’m guessing they faded by now because the oil seeped slightly onto my lash lines and the fact slowly our lashes slowly do grow! LolI would have preferred using something else like a hydrogel for the under eyes and on the lid. Also I’ll probably use another tool instead of the comb(s) provides in this kit. Like a small angled liner brush.I’d recommend this product based on price and qualitative results!

Impossible to use!
This is a horrible product. I have used 1000 Hour lash dye for years but I can no longer find it. This product is nothing like that. You have to keep wetting your lashes and reapplying the dye. After all that, I had a big mess and no darker lashes than when I started. Waste of money!

Very easy to use
I have long eyelashes and I am a brunette. The product did not make much of a difference to my eyelashes but my eyebrows came out really good. I did smudge a bit of the color just underneath my eyelash line under my eyes, however it just look like I applied eyeliner - for me that was a bonus haha. Persons with lighter hair might not appreciate if this happens or if they spill more than a teeny tiny line on their lower eye lid. the product sticks to your skin and stays on for about 4-5 days before the oil of your skin starts to wear it off. I was fortunate enough not to have had the product in my eye like some others have experienced - thank you for your reviews on the warnings, really made me take care when I applied the product. The product will last a long time as you really use very little of it and its seriously not difficult to use.

This product does dye hair as promised.
I found this product a bit challenging to use. It does do as promised to dye eyebrows but as I don't have a lot of hairs, the results were not as obvious as I would've liked. If you have lots of light colored hairs, you should get better results. Removing the dye from skin is pretty easy if you get it off quickly with a Q tip. And it has lasted for a month for me.I used a skinny eyebrow spoolie to apply the color gel to get better control with my sparse hairs. As for eyelashes, I did try, but the whole process is a bit scary as you're doing something chemical right close to your eyeball. Of couse, I didn't see any difference, because I was so concerned about hurting my eyes. I will try again and post an update, if able to get better results.Good luck & be very careful to read all instructions before starting!

Beauty is pain...
This product definitely works in that it makes your eye lashes darker, but as others have said, it BURNS when you get it in your eyes which of course is all but inevitable. When it got in my eye (I dyed one eye at a time), the tears were tinged with blood which worried me, but I forged ahead anyway thinking I'll only lose my sight in one eye if it renders me blind! To reassure you, I did not go blind and have no adverse effects despite ignoring the bloody tears. I did seem to get better at it with each try at it. I did the first eye twice and then just left step one on my second eyelashes for longer to let it get darker. I used a q-tip to apply step one and ordered these applicators (400 PCS Disposable Micro Applicators Brush for Makeup and Personal Care (Head Diameter: 2.0mm)- 4 X 100 PCS) for step two. They worked much easier for applying the gel than the comb that comes included in the kit. All in all, I'm pleased and will probably keep using it but I think I'll try enlisting a helper next time to do the application for me! After all, no one said beauty was easy, right!?

Feel the burn
Ok so this stuff is weird or maybe I just don't have the patience for it. U put the little vitamin c tablet to dissolve in the water in that tiny bottle they give you then you're supposed to apply that vitamin c water with a q-tip to your eyelashes. Then you're supposed to add the gel to the tiny comb and comb your eyelashes and then take it off. Maybe I made a mistake of putting too much of the water on my eyelashes and by the way the comb is a terrible idea if you have an old mascara wand that will work a lot better, but when I applied the gel my eyes burned like a m********** to the point where I couldn't keep the shit on even if I wanted to and I'm not sure if it was at that point that I ended up with my bottom lashes painting my skin under my eye after I ran my eyeball underwater or after. Maybe I'll try again after the trauma of the burn wears off but I much prefer 1000 hours dye. This stuff has a weird method to it.

Most of the other products are at least double in price....and Roux Lash & Brow Tint ....The Best and Professional Quality and the UNDISPUTED WORLD CHAMPION of Lash & Brow Tint (the original product I was actually shopping for [ Used to be sold at Sally's Beauty Supply $31.00)***Sadly*** Now Roux is out of business and such a RARE Find, so it is priced between $150.00 (only used once!!!!.... ughhh :( [probably fine but "ummm... ick",and "ewww... gross" I'm sure they probably washed off the little lash comb])-$299.00 new..... Nice if you can afford it ..... but this Swiss O'par kit (BLACK) is a GREAT ALTERNATIVE and at $7.99 I know you will be just as THRILLED with the RESULTS and the $291.01 Bonus.... as I am!!!
