Matisse: In 50 works

I ordered this book at the same time I bought Van Gogh in 50 Works in the same series - i liked the look of the format and the collection of paintings appeared to include well known Matisse works and some lesser known. Having visited the London exhibition a couple of years ago, i am a huge fan.I was not disappointed. It's a lovely styled book, featuring a painting and corresponding description on every page spread. I think it works really well in this landscape format - am really hoping that there will be more in the series!

This is a good book, however, it was a present for a friend and arrived damaged. I did ask for assistance, but got no reply.
