As other reviewers have noted, the quilt is considerably darker in person than in the Amazon listing photo, but we actually preferred that. We appreciate the other reviewers taking time to post their photos because that helped sell us on the quilt. Seems well made, and, very important to us, the size is generous and works well with a deep mattress. Most quilts are 100-105" wide. These would not reach the skirt on our bed, leaving an exposed band of bedding several inches wide. At 118", this is comfortably reaches the skirt on all sides. Can't beat it for the price.

(Update: the second quilt also had broken thread and a hole that I decided to repair myself instead of sending back. )The quilt set looks nice, the colors are just like they look on my computer screen. The oversized queen is perfect for my tall queen size mattress, it comes down on the sides and at the foot to cover the mattress and more than half of the box spring as well. It is thin so I use a blanket underneath. I chose this to have a darker colored bedding for the fall and winter, to alternate with the bright summery colors. HOWEVER the thread is loose in some areas and it is broken on one place. On the backside of that particular area the thread is missing, probably the sewing machine ran out or something. Since I like this bedding, I will do an exchange and give this another try.

I'm fairly certain this is the first review I've ever written and I'm writing it because I'm impressed. I have looked for a rustic, manly, cabin-style comforter/bedspread for at least a year, only to be met with $300 - $400 price tags. So, if you've found yourself in the same situation and are disappointed because of the cost, chin up, because this product nails it. It is not thick like most comforters would be, so I would consider it a bedspread. But you can use comforters underneath it as I do to give it that full look. They've also really captured the rustic look with this pattern. The leaves, designs, bears etc. along with the rich greens, reds, golds and browns really set it off by giving it that 'nature' feel. It does not look or feel cheap at all as you might assume from the price and covers my King-sized bed very nicely, so I didn't see any need to purchase a bed skirt. I've literally looked at hundreds of bed coverings and in my opinion, this bedspread looks as good or better than any of those I saw for a much higher cost. (And the pillow shams are very nice also.) I'm glad I kept looking because I saved hundreds of dollars and am very pleased with the way it looks. It's just what I was searching for. Many thanks to the company!

I really love this comforter set. The fabric and stitching seem sturdy enough to last several years and the print is beautiful.Pay attention to other reviews that say the colors are darker than in the picture and that the quilt is thin. It does not appear to have any batting inside - it’s just two thick pieces of fabric sewn together. Depending on your climate and bedroom decor this may not be a problem but you should be aware of it before ordering to avoid disappointment.

I looked all over for the right cover for this room. So glad I chose this one. Inexpensive and made well. Of course, only time will tell, but for now this is great! I recommend it 100%!

For the money, this is a nice set. Perfect for summer cover but it is sized for a full, not a queen. Be sure to measure floor to floor across the bed to make sure it will hang long enough. I neglected to do this but am keeping it anyway.

Very light but comfortable quilt, looks great on and is thin enough to be washed without a problem. Great value and looks like it will last a long time. No strange smell when opened.

Pretty nice bed spread. NOT A COMFORTER OR A BLANKET. It’s a bedspread. You take it off the bed while sleeping. Covers our CA KING fairly well, could be a tad wider. Nice rustic design and colors. All in all a good deal.
