Scrap Metal 23316L Surgical Steel Circular Barbell Horseshoe 2g

I was a little skeptical of such an affordable heavy weight ring, but after I received it, I was impressed by the weight and construction of it. Definitely a buyer of future products

The ball of the barbell has the shaft of the screw in it -- preventing stabbing or cutting your piercing during insertion of the horseshoe (the long part) and it has enough threaded shaft sticking out to secure the ball -- unlike some other devices that I bought lately which had so few threads on the threaded shaft that they were stripped out when I received them. From asking sellers of this sort of device I have learned that "internally threaded" means that the horseshoe (the shaft) has the threads inside them (female) and the balls have the shaft of the screw sticking out of them (male). This means that the balls screw INTO the shaft -- and do not have a sharp, jagged threaded shaft sticking out of the horseshoe to damage your delicate piercing innards while inserting the device wherever you want to wear it. For ears and possibly eyebrows, this might not be a problem, but for a penis, it is VERY important.Quick shipping and a quality device. I bought another device from them on the strength of this purchase.

I've been stretching my PA recently and purchased a similar item from another seller on Amazon. After a couple of weeks of use, the piercing just got more irritated & painful. After looking more closely at the jewelry I realized that it was corroding & pitted. I stepped back down to a smaller size (and higher quality) CBR that I'd used before & ordered this 2g, 5/8" circular barbell from Scrap Metal 23. I've been extremely happy with this item & seller. I've been using this circular barbell for about a month now and, based on prior experiences, I think I'd know by now if the quality of the steel wasn't quite up to par... but, no problems at all! It still looks great & the strecthing process is much easier with quality jewelry. It didn't cost me much more than the cheap piece of crap item that caused a lot of pain and irritation. My advice? Pay the extra $5-$10 over the cheapest item you can find and purchase this. I promise that this item's steel really is "surgical grade" and well worth it.

The CBB I received was true to gauge, smooth and had a uniformly polished finish...comfortable PA jewelry. The threaded posts that connect the balls to the barbell were very short. I counted 4 rotations of each ball from detached to fully seated.Experience shows the posts and drill holes need to be made longer. An alternative would be to use a finer screw thread count (more rotations per unit length) if 316L SS would support that.I habitually make sure the screw connections in PA jewelry are fully tightened while I an drying off after a shower. Despite that precaution one of these balls fell off sometime during the third day of wear never to be seen again. The remaining ball was still fully tightened.Of course it could have been worse. I would rather lose the ball without noticing it than have to explain a stainless steel sphere falling out of my pants leg and clattering across the floor at work.

I purchased this piece for my stretched septum piercing. I assumed it was another pretty average Circular Barbell like every other piece on Amazon, and so I bought it simply as a cheap piece while I save up for a top shelf Anatometal piece. However, when I received this I was stunned at the quality! For the money this CBB is insane: internally threaded, true to gauge and diameter, and polished to a mirror finish. I couldn't ask for a more well made piece, for the money this is one of the best 2g Circulars you can find, and I would highly, highly recommend this seller.

Solid jewelry, jusr dont torque down the balls. I would suggest picture on on ball, set it and forget it. Balls are a bit big for me, offering an 8 mm would have garnered a 5 star.
