Editing my review as my original thoughts were mistaken. This is actually a great buy for the price. My man issue was rapid battery draining after the first installation but with some research online i figured out my problem. I backed up and reset my phone to factory setting and then did a restore and it has solved the issue. Battery life is back to what it used to be. At first i felt like there was a difference in screen quality but honestly now i do not notice any difference. Screen quality is excelled. I followed the ifixit.com guide and some youtube videos. keep in mind that you do need to transfer the backplate, home button, front camera, proximity sensors and the cable associated with these but honestly with some time and patience it is doable if you have some experience with tech devices. Took me about three hours but saved me from buying a new phone.

I never write reviews on the purchases I make but buying the Premium Screen Replacement was worth every penny. The installation was easy and I didn't have to remove the camera hook up from my old screen onto my new screen. It came with tools you need to install the screen, instructions, glass protector and the new screen. You will need to install your old home button to the new screen because it doesn't come with one. One thing I did notice is there is a lag on the screen but everything is functional. The only negative on this purchase is I chose next day shipping because I have prime it came two/three days later.

So far so good. Fairly easy to install read the instructions . as well as watching a YouTube video while doing it. The tools are ok they mainly did their job although I had to use a glasses screwdriver I had to unscrew some screws. It would also be handy to have some of the thin angled tweezers you see in the instructions as they’re more delicate than normal tweezers or using your hands. I don’t think the actual display is as good as apple screens but it still looks good and for the price I can’t really complain.

I don't want to be too harsh in this review but I'm going to be completely honest.This display is not quite up to OEM quality.1)Color reproduction isn't great. The screen has a pretty substantial blue hue to it. I find that it isn't horrible, it's just fine.2)3D touch might as well not be here. It technically works, but it is not anywhere near how the OEM screen behaves. you need to very very lightly touch the screen, wait a split second, then push down slowly. If you straight up try to press down hard like you would on a real iPhone it simply does not register a press. It's slightly more inconvenient to use.3)The included screen protector looks like its for a different model all together. The camera button and speaker hole were way too far away from where they actually are.The big plus is that it actually WORKS. It works quite as you would expect it too with no trouble or glitching, which is more than I can say for most screen reproductions.Other things to note:It does not come with a home button, camera, speaker, or IR sensor. You will need to rip those out of your broken display. The camera and IR sensor sit inside of little clear plastic guides. This display does not come with those so you need to transfer those over as well. It does come with the glue to hold the camera cable together.It also does not come with the metal back-plate. You need to peel off the red sticker cover and transfer over the large metal back-plate from the original display that is attached via 7 screws in sideways.Overall, It is a great price and i'm very happy that everything completely works with no troubles. I know it is very very difficult to produce a high quality OEM-like replacement display without going straight to apple, but this one does do the trick to fix your broken phone.Edit: It appears the 3D Touch on this display is a software trick. It works by sensing how much of your finger is on the display when you first press it, and then if the area of touch increases then it triggers the “3D touch” effect. The most reliable way to trigger this effect is to press, and then roll your finger slightly.

I don't write reviews ever -- but I figured it would be important for others to know that I have had trouble with this screen. When I removed the screen from my iPhone, I compared the build and quality with this replacement -- very similar in that regard, other than the ribbons with the connectors are longer than that of the official Apple one. Not only that, but because of the length of the ribbons, getting them connected right was difficult because it required me to fold the excess length of the ribbons in half in order to fit in the connectors and put the plate and screws back in (which was a real pain since the extra length made it thicker).It powered on as it should, you can immediately tell the difference in quality -- the resolution and colors are not as good as Apple's screen, it's darker and the colors are not as vibrant. When navigating on the screen, the touch sensitivity is rather insensitive requiring you to tap multiple times in order for it to recognize the touch of your finger. And if you push too hard (which was not even hard), the screen warps in its color as a sign its a cheap screen.Fast forward 2 months, I've dealt with a screen with bad sensitivity since day 1 and it started to shut my screen completely off if i pushed too hard (just trying to get it to recognize my finger touching it!). After about a week of this happening, my phone screen wouldn't even turn on anymore. So this past week I've been without a phone due to this screen not functioning.Be aware you might end up with a screen like mine that probably won't fit correctly and could cause future problems like shutting off completely leaving you without a phone. I would LOVE if the seller would contact me and get this figured out.

My old screen was competely smashed, such that I could not use the supplied suction cup tool to open the phone. No matter...the supplied plastic tools were all that I needed to pry open the case.. Very pleased. Should get a few more years out of this phone.

Screen fits perfectly but brightness quality too poor. I wouldn’t mind it but black corner.The corner of the screen is black and finger print in the button stopped working. I used the original button but their contact in the screen. Looks like too poor quality.
