Some people are saying they received knockoffs. did it come in a real bosch box with correct markings on maf? was it authentic?

My vehicle has tons of miles so I decided to change this out for peace of mind. The box had the serial hologram but it was torn when it arrived, it shipped in a soft bag. I figured the seal tore during shipping. Also the bottom of the box was not glued as when original from dealer. I atributed that to the bad packaging. Once installed, all heck broke loose, I got about 4 miles and it backfired when I took off after stopping for a light and almost stalled. It bucked again and almost stalled when I accelerated at 4 more stop lights and finally threw a check engine light and the exhaust smelled terrible. Checked the code and it was a P0104 Mass Air Flow Code! I cleared the code and will try again tomorrow morning. The seller has no issue with the return and the part has all the correct Bosch markings. Good thing I saved the old part lol
