I love this new eco packaging. One can even reuse it if need be. It is quite convinient and easy to expel air and reseal it. The only thing is that this batch is light in taste for whatever reason. Will buy again though.

Absolutely the best tasting green tea on the market ! Every other so called green tea, tastes like burnt ashes compared to the fresh and lively flavor of Eden Sencha Green Tea. We prefer the loose variety because it allows us to control the amount we use each day and also we like to eat the tea leaves. They are just like eating spinach and it contributes so many more nutritional elements to our bodies. Instead of just water, we drop in a teaspoon of Tea to 3 cups of hot water and let it brew, to be consumed through the morning and for lunch. A much better choice than too much coffee to keep alert and motivated throughout the day. For anyone looking for mellow & energy from their tea, Eden Sencha Green Tea is GREAT !

Compares well with sencha I order directly from farm near Kyoto. Sencha now my favorite tea after years of Chinese teas due to lower astringency and quality hua yun. Cheaper at other online outlets maybe or direct from Japan unless you get free shipping quantities. Worth a try and handy in a pinch of low. I like it, but I did mix it in with leftover from other.

Update: This is bancha, not sencha! In fact, Eden only recently "rebranded" this product as sencha instead of bancha. Deceptive marketing. If you want sencha, do not buy this tea.Previous review:Not a fan of this sencha. I bought a couple bags of this on clearance and paid $3/bag and I would not buy more even at that price. I would be very disappointed if I paid $9+ for only 60 grams of subpar sencha. This tastes much closer to bancha or either a low quality light steam (asamushi) sencha than typical Uji sencha. It is very dry, astringent, and pretty flavorless really. I highly recommend purchasing your sencha from a Japanese seller rather than an overpriced Western reseller.
