Slightly stiffer, firmer connecting, much cheaper replacement for Roland GR-20 guitar synth cable
I purchased this product to replace my second or third Roland cable for my Roland-ready Fender Strat and Roland GR-20 guitar synthesizer. The official Roland cables quite quickly wear out, resulting in intermittent connections, plus the plugs don't stay locked to the guitar or synthesizer. This replacement product is excellent! I put it through the paces right away after getting it. It snaps solidly into place on my guitar and there is no problem whatsoever switching back and forth between guitar and synth mode. The cable is stiffer than the original equipment Roland version and appears to be made of a plastic coating material rather than the rubber-like material on the Roland. It remains to be seen of course how it will stand up to continued use, but at this price one could afford to buy several for the price of just one Roland version.

this not a 13 pin cable
the hosa part number mid-315bk is a regular 5 pin midi cable not a 13 pin cable for roland guitar synths buyer beware if the photos don't show the plug ends so you can count the pins don't trust it.

If you've got Roland GK or VG devices this is the cable you need. Economical pricing - I received 3 and they all work fine. Not quite as rubbery as the Roland cables but as robust - I'd gig with these no problem. Thank you!

The media could not be loaded. I saw the same cable for like $100. This is a better deal.

Cord was defective
The cord was worthless. There was no output for the D string. All the other strings worked fine, but I don't play a 5 string guitar.
