Cute Halloween book toddlers love it. Would recommend.

I bought this book because our grandchildren LOVE Eric Carle's Firefly, Light Up the Sky book and flashlight, and I could not find a different book and flashlight set by the author or publisher. This cheap book has virtually no story at all that interests the kids, and the flashlight sounds and prompts are a joke. They tossed the book and flashlight aside almost immediately and have not picked up the set since. Meanwhile, they continue to grab the Eric Carle book every time they see it, flip through the pages, note the icons, and press the corresponding buttons on the flashlight to hear the sounds. The light casts shadows on each page, which the 2- and 3-year-old "readers" have yet to truly catch onto. But they love the set nonetheless and will enjoy it even more when they understand the shadows they can cast. Don't buy this Mickey clubhouse--look for Eric Carle instead!

This is definitely a novelty item and not something that I expect to last for long. My toddler loves Halloween and got a kick out of flashing the flashlight on the pop-ups to cast shadows and the flashlight makes some cute noises. I definitely wouldn't pay more than about $12 for it.
