African Bazin Couple Clothes Traditional Embroidery Shirt and Pants 2 Pieces Outfit for Man Maxi Bazin Dress for Woman

I lived in Cameroon for 3 1/2 years, and am married to a Cameroonian woman for 30+ years now, so I KNOW - I mean I really really really KNOW what these outfits are SUPPOSED to look like, feel like and fit like.Typically to have even a CHANCE at being satisfied you'll be spending over $300, so when I plunked down $50 (including S&H) for this outfit, I had very very low expectations...Just 2 days later the package arrived... and I WAS COMPLETELY BLOWN AWAY BY THE QUALITY !I'm not kidding.The material used is called "bazin" is the absolute BEST type of material EVERYONE wants these outfits made from, because the patterns are literally IN the material itself, not "printed on" the material.NOTE: some buyer ignorant of what "bazin" is dared to call this "plastic" in her own review...DO NOT LISTEN TO THAT REVIEW - it is completely INACCURATE (ignorant is a better term) about what bazin is, how it should look, and how it feels.THESE OUTFITS are AMAZING !!!Every Returned Peace Corps volunteer I've ever known will spend $150 in the blink of an eye to buy not one not two but at least THREE of these outfits the moment they read my review. MONEY WELL-SPENT !OK - back to details:ME: 58 year old male scandahoovian; 6 ft -1 in, 240 lbs (athletic, not fat).My chest size is typically 47 inches, but the other reviews did say "run small", so I ordered XXXL ...RESULT:This outfit fit my frame PERFECTLY !!!!!!!!!!!The TOP fit PERFECTLY, like it was custom-tailored - I was speechless :-OThe PANTS fit PERFECTLY, and even 1 inch longer than I needed , and feel GREAT EVERYWHERE.I HAD NO IDEA THIS OUTFIT WAS GOING TO BE SO DAMNED PERFECT IN EVERY DETAIL !!!When my (Cameroonian) wife came home an hour later and I surprised her wearing this outfit (keep in mind white men struggle to look good in these outfits)...... she was absolutely blown away by how I looked in it. I could see the pride in her eyes as she positively BEAMED at how I looked, and she jumped into the closet to see what she had that could go with it, and was already calling people to find out when the next (Chicagoland) "fete" was going on that she & I could go to...ARE YOU GETTING IT YET?This made a native-born Cameroonian woman BEAM WITH PRIDE at how her husband looked in an AFRICAN costume. Do you know how HARD that is to do?WHOEVER claimed it was "plastic" ... ADJUST your review after you done your research.IF you're an African Peace Corps Volunteer from any time in the past 40 years - I JUST DID YOU A FAVOR writing this review, because THIS is the outfit you've been seeking.The ONLY WAY this could possibly get better is if this vendor (who clearly uses cutting-edge technology to get this kind of fit for this price) decided to offer MORE colors...I don't know what else to say - let me try to put up a few pics (something I RARELY do on Amazon reviews).JUST ORDERED a matching outfit for my identical-twin brother Michael in Prior Lake, MN (not kidding)...JUST ORDERED a second outfit (same size) for ME, because I KNOW I'll wear this out out in a year or so :-) ...-Mark in North Aurora IL (US Peace Corps Cameroon, CCAST Kumba, SWP, 87-90)

The material which holds the embroidery is not suitable to be used for garments aside from raincoats. It is a very flimsy plastic that does not breathe or move comfortably with one's body and is reminiscent of a low quality shower curtain. There are no words to adequately describe my extreme disappointment with this product.

The make is beautiful and it is worth it. I guess it runs small it took me to order it a few times to get the perfect size. If you are large go 2 sizes up and if you are bigger from the Chest DD go up 3 sizes. I had fast shipping and my returns were fast and easy. The initial size was XL but i ended up ordering 4x the third time because i am 38DD and the chest part was hard to fit. 4x is too big for my waist but that’s the aize that went through my boobs. Really good quality. I’m in love with it.

The dress is glamorous, but there were many dirt spots in the back of the dress. These spots could not be wiped out.Although, I kept the beautiful dress please be careful who package the clothing. Usually I have not complained, but this could not go unnoticed.

I ordered an X-Large (his standard size) for my dad to wear for his birthday party, but it was too small. May have to order one size up for this particular brand.

The dress arrived the very next day, super fast! I’m a size 8 and was a little worries when I saw that it was a large but I think it must run small. Because of it’s traditional African style the roominess works for me. It’s well made with the inner seams finished and very pretty. The only reason I didn’t give it five stars is because of the fabric. Although it’s 100% cotton, the cotton is the new styled thin variety. Which my wear okay, I don’t know, we’ll see. Yes I would recommend this dress!
