Works fine, but poorly made.
Everything is fine except the lid mechanism. It is terribly designed. As a person who has been in the food industry for 20+ years, I could tell right away that the lid mechanism was just asking to be broken. And guess what, not 2 weeks into using it, it broke. Not because of carelessness, but because of poor spot welding where the hinge meets the actual lid. Also, the image used to portray the kettle (on Amazon) is also nothing like the one I received. Mine is much rounder at the base and tapers off at the top. Operationally, it works fine.
