Although these do save a little less than half the space on the rod, please be aware that your clothes will hang a lot lower. The distance from where the hanger hooks to the rod to the very last hole on the hanger is an 11 inch difference, so be prepared to have your clothes hang an extra 11 inches further down than normal. Because of the way my closet is set up, this was an extreme disadvantage for me.I also found that when my closet was very full, it was hard to get the hangers in & out of the holes.I would have returned this item if I hadn't accidentally thrown the box away and with shipping costs, it would have been a waste to return, so I did keep them, but they are currently just "housing" my extra hangers, with no clothes on them..

Was thrilled with these hangers at first but three have separated from hook where the swivel part is and found them on the floor so I'm less thrilled now and feel they should be able to hold the blouses without pulling apart. I do like the swivel part a great improvement over older model I had some years ago but pulls away too easily from hook.

These things work great if you don't mind sacrificing a foot of vertical storage space in exchange for making more hanging space. These are "compatible" with plastic hangers, but they do not save much space unless you use thin profile hangers. I will have to replace all of my hangers in order for this item to function in my closet. However, once I replace my hangers, I plan to order more of this item. It is a genius concept and will really help free up some space in my closet.

Becareful what you put on these, they break pretty easily. It works great for lightweight work shirts or tshirts but mens shirts/pants? I wouldn't advise it. Otherwise they do what they should and myside of the closet looks awesome. :)

These are great space savers. I purchased a similar product many year ago and needed more. My older ones have softer hangers and have started to stretch out. These seem like they will hold up a lot better. I sort my tops by color and using these not only saves space but makes it very easy to sort clothing how ever you want.Update...within about 3 months they all broke with something hanging in every slot. Not as good as the ones I used in the past. I also bought some Metal ones at the same time and those have been great. The hanging part comes off the drop down part.

I broke three on the first day. So, I switched to a metal one. It's not easy to take the hangers off unless it's really thin like coated wire hangers.

I like the idea of these but the hook part tends to break easy

If you put too much weight on the end hangers then they break. Even if you put to many heavy things in the hanger holes the top hook will break. Very plastic. I wouldn't buy them again or at all. Not something that will efficiently help save space.
