🌬️🍃 "Green Thumb's Delight: The Ultimate Inline Fan for Indoor Gardening!" 🍃🌬️
TLDR: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 An inline fan that's a powerhouse in airflow, whisper-quiet, and energy-efficient - perfect for our indoor garden! 🍃🔇 So, we've got this new inline fan for our 4x4 indoor garden, and it's an absolute beast at moving air! If you're setting one up, make sure your tent can handle the suction, or it'll be like shrink-wrapping your plants. We've linked it to a temp controller, keeping it at a cool 30% speed to get rid of the extra heat. Pros: Solid build quality - it's metal all over, except for the plastic impeller. Setup is super quick and hassle-free. Power use? Only 15w at the lowest and 25w at full blast. It's so quiet, you'll forget it's there. The airflow is surprisingly powerful for its size and energy draw. Attaching a 4in duct is no sweat. Snagged it at a fantastic price initially. Cons: It's locked to its own speed controller – no universal compatibility. Noticed a price jump after our purchase. Lacks auto adjustment features for humidity and temperature. Energy usage? It's a dream. Running this fan at 30%, with a small fan and a 135w light both on medium, we're only using about 90 watts. That's gentle on the seedlings and the electric bill. Crank it up for the growth phase, and it's still a lean 130 watts. Our electricity costs are laughing – this setup's costing us about $7 monthly. Haven't tried it with a filter yet, but we're eyeing up another fan and dual filters from the same maker for a future upgrade. In a nutshell: This inline fan is a star performer. Robust, ultra-quiet, and energy-conscious, it's a must-have for any indoor gardening aficionado. My one gripe? I'd love a feature to control the fan speed automatically based on environmental changes. But overall, it's a purchase I'd repeat without a second thought.

Great fan, ultra low noise level and lightweight design. well worth the purchase.
this little fan is awesome. previously used the vivosun 4in, but the last one i purchased was probably defective and far too loud. it eventually died. to their credit, vivosun did give me a prorated refund at about 90% of purchase price. that said, i’m soooo glad i spent the extra money to purchase this fan. the small size surprised me, and this review may change if the small, lightweight size can’t handle normal use. but, for now at least, two weeks in, its worked like a charm. the small size is misleading; the thing really moves air well. bonus is the power control; it comes with a cord that is long enough for pretty much anything. moreover, the noise level is neglible; the device is whisper quiet. finally, being able to adjust a full 100 percent is so intuitively right, i am surprised more fans with speed control don’t allow full control. very happy with the purchase.

Works Fantastically
Easy Installation, long cord for speed controller allowed me to put the speed controller in a convenient location. The fan is quiet, even at max. I bought this fan to draw warm air from our main living level in the house which is heated by a woodstove in the winter, down into the basement. When we are heating with wood, our furnace doesn't run so our basement, therefore, the floor under our feet, gets very cold. To make this all happen I installed a vent at the top of a wall on our main living level near the wood stove and made a hole in the ceiling of the basement that corresponded to the proper chase in the wall. I secured rigid ducting to the bottom of the chase and hooked it up to the fan with some flexible ducting. I powered on the fan and walla! It was drawing warm air into the basement. I have only had it installed and operating for two days but the temperature of the basement which measures roughly 26x30x6.5 feet high has definitely improved. The floor under our feet is warmer as well. We can now comfortably wear socks and don't feel the need to wear slippers or moccasins to keep our feet warm n the floor. Yesterday, it was 28 degrees outside and the basement was a comfortable 58. Prior to installing the fan the basement would have been in the low 40 degree range. The fan is installed pretty much under our living room, about 3' under the floor and I can't hear it running, even on the max setting. A fantastic, economical, home improvement.

Good fan, but NOT AIR TIGHT!
I used this for my laser cutter and it took me a few days trying to figure out why the fumes were SO STRONG in my shop. After trying numerous things to seal any cracks in my laser cutter, I checked my hoses and connections and was shocked to find a couple nice strong jets of air blowing out from the blower! The rubber grommet that the speed control wire comes out is too big and allows air to blow by, and the strain relief from the power cable isn't a gasket so air leaks out. I ended up covering both of these holes in silicone caulking to block the air flow so I don't get the toxic gasses leaking back in to my room. If you are using this for a laser cutter be sure to seal it up! Other than that, great fan, pretty happy with it. Speed control is convenient and documentation on how to use it was well done.

Expensive for a 4” fan, but working well
So far this 4” fan is working like a champ in my 2x2 tent. I have it on nearly the lowest setting of the dial and it’s still pulling a decent amount of air through a 4” carbon filter. The noise level isn’t much over my 6” fan already running at the bottom of the tent, but that is likely because I’m on such a low power setting. Setup was a no brainer - an arrow points what way the air flow is, attach a 4” duct to each side, plug in power cord, connect the dial cord and adjust dial to desired air flow amount. 2 cons: 1) the connector socket for the dial cord had a moment or 2 of not working which required some wiggling of the cord until it started working. This was worrying to me because after extended use, wonder if the problem will worsen to the point of no functionality which would mean the entire fan would not operate since it requires the dial to be plugged in and working. Not a problem yet, more of a worry 2) the price is more than most other 4” fans and I’m not 100% sold the build quality warrants the price. Those 2 things said, no other complaints and am pretty happy with the fan so far. I would recommend it.

Purchased in 2020, still working 2023
I was browsing through my old purchases and decided to leave a review on this. I installed this against the wall with the fan throwing air up. It has two of the shiny flexible metal aluminum? laundry hose/pipes, on either side of the fan. One hose runs up and out of the house. The other runs from the fan down to the sump pit and tosses stale air out. It has been running non-stop since it was installed years ago (bought in 2020, still going in 2023). It runs constantly at a lower fan speed level, but I do occasionally turn it up from time to time. I just wanted to leave a positive review because it seems like most stuff doesn't last anymore, so I greatly appreciate that this company made a nice fan that is still working. Thanks!

Just what I needed
I chose this over the similarly priced competition for a variety of reasons: compact size, higher static pressure (vs. raw CFM), metal enclosure, etc. The online documentation, utoob videos, independent testing, and technical information provided by customer service was icing on the cake. And if I ever want to geek out and hook up a raspberry pi, that option is available too. As far as noise, when on levels 3-6, it is much quieter than my previous fan -- a win for me. Overall, it will serve my purposes well, and I hope to get a nice, long service life from it.

Easy install and does the job nicely
I used this inline fan to move warm air from my living room to my master bedroom. We use the fireplace to heat the living area and the bedroom was cold. So I installed a register in the living room ceiling and one in the bedroom ceiling. 25’ of insulated flex ducting, fan and installed a 110 volt outlet in the attic. Bought the hand remote so I could activate the fan and adjust the speed. Perfect. Gets the bedroom to around 70 degrees with heat from the living room. No need to turn on the forced air heater. It’s quiet up to speed 4, speed 5/6 is louder but not overbearing. With the tv on I can’t hear it. Moves a lot of air.

Best grow fan I've found so far.
Amazing fan, so happy I found terrabloom. Ecm fans should be the current standard for all grow fans however this is not the case. Don't be fooled by other nice looking fans that have 60yr old fan technology inside. This paired with a good led grow light and you have a super efficient setup with infinite control over air speed instead of just a few speeds, and it will last longer, use less power and be more quiet.

This is likely what you're looking for.
Works great out of the box. Long power and speed control cords. Fairly quiet too! Was my first exhaust fan so I really have nothing to compare it to. Had a defect and was still under the 2 year warranty. The sales rep I spoke to had my replacement unit sent out within a day of the inquiry.

running for a year straight now...
It never died! 1 year, never a break and running speed 3 and 4. Good and quiet at low speeds... and has not died yet! It exceeded my expectations for a budget priced fan, I can say its worth the price and more!

Does the job of pulling in air from outside.
Started making a minor bearing noise. We'll see how it goes.

Bon ventilateur
Le ventilateur est facile d'installation et il est possible d'acheter un adaptateur pour une télécommande sans fils! À faible vitesse le son est négligeable. À pleine vitesse il faut s'attendre à un son plus important, ce qui est normal pour un ventilateur.
