It is a pity that any colour photos is showed in the book.When mentioning 5 years duration clocks, few photos are showed, to understand the secrets of the system.Also is mentioned 12 year duration clock, but without any photo and indications about were is this clock exhibited.Good information but black and white photos only is a very big deception

The book was given as a present and it has turned into a great source of identification of the clocks I have collocted over the years. It's an easy read with great pictures and text.

A well written book that will help identify and date Vienna clocks. A must for any dealer or collector.Pity mine arrived damaged as delivery fool left it sticking out my letter box in the rain

The book has not any colour photography .Few descriptions of the main clocks factories and very poor descriptions of machinery, maintenance and general information for collector. Very expensive book and very few history and poor interest for the reader.I don't recommend, even to my worst enemy, to purchase it. You could find a lot of free Photographies in internet and you don't need to buy this book.Is a pity because the author could offer help, councils, settle information etc giving to the book interest and amusement.

Excellent book giving a very good overview of Vienna Regulator Clocks. What was missing from the book is a detailed insight into the different types of movements and how they work which would help understand how the movements were developed. Hopefully such a book will be written.
