🎛️ Signal Your Success with Precision!
The Siglent SDG810 is a cutting-edge single-channel signal generator featuring a 10 MHz bandwidth and a remarkable 125 MSa/s sampling rate. With advanced DDS technology and 14-bit vertical resolution, it offers five standard waveforms and 46 arbitrary waveforms, making it ideal for a variety of applications. Its complete modulation functions and innovative Easy Pulse technology ensure high performance, while standard USB interfaces provide convenient data management.

Incredible value
This is my second AWG (the first was a cheap ebay one). The siglent is very simple to use, straightforward and has good build quality. It has the typical waveforms (sine, triangle, ramp, square) and a lot of built in arbitrary ones. But even if you need more flexibility you can use software to generate practically any waveform. I was able to install the software on Windows 7 64bits and it works really well. You can generate them with a drawing tool or as mathematical functions and export them to the siglent.

Great functionality at a reasonable price
My primary application is in troubleshooting and repair of vintage audio gear. For that application, this generator is more than adequate. While ideally, I would have liked less distortion and noise in the basic analog signals, the versatility of the waveform generator is excellent. I find the use of both sawtooth and ramp waveforms very useful in the audio work when I am assessing transient response and the sweep function is great for assessing frequency response. Very useful for what I do and at a reasonable price.

Great AWG for the price.
Overall, I am impressed with the SDG810 AWG. I needed an signal generator that would output an AM modulated waveform to align a couple vintage vacuum tube radios that I am restoring. The SDG810 seems to do what I need at a reasonable price. A couple reviewer noted that they had issues where the display would go blank during use and that after power up the last state would not appear. I found settings in the Utility function that addresses both of these issues (see attached). Also, I attached a file describing how to output a 455kHz AM modulated waveform with a 400Hz tone. I plan to update this review after I complete the alignment of the first AM radio that I'm restoring.

Very best function generator for general bench instrumentation needs
This is the very best function generator for general bench instrumentation needs in its frequency range. The user interface is amazing--easy to access, help files in ROM, excellent and clear selection of the many parameters one might like to set. The frequency accuracy is 5 nines, the ability to set amplitude digitally is a boon. The ability to set the high and low values of a waveform is particularly nice. The burst output is capable of providing a tunable drive to an acoustic transducer so that with a decent oscilloscope, one can set up a pulse-echo ultrasound system with no other hardware. After buying this one, i bought two more for the lab and may buy even more. I wonder if their oscilloscopes are as good?

failed keypad after only a few hours use.
Keypad failed after a few hours use. Unit stuck on one function. Because this was bought through Amazon warehouse as "used" (it was a return and still in original UNOPENED box), Siglent would not honor the warranty and Amazon will not make amends. Buyer beware of any Siglent electronic item bought from Amazon Warehouse.

One of my best investment
I have received in perfect conditions, good packing. I'm from Chile, South America and bougth this model for my workbench. After a lot of test to verify all specs I'm very happy with the generator, it is the best relation price - quality. Very good deal. The only detail that I want to recommend to the manufacturer Siglent, is to take advantage of their digital design and after a shut off of the generator can remember the last state and in the next turn on begin in the same last configuration, like happen in the analog kind where all the set up is made with switches that stay in the same position. I know that you can record the set up in the memory if you want, but if you are working and suffer a black out you will return to sine wave and 1 khz all the time, your last configuration is deleted. I hope you can understand the idea, my english is not good. Anyway It's a great Generator. Congratulations and thank you, my wallet is really happy with the investment.

Very high quality and easy to use.
The Siglent SDG810 is very easy to use. The store/recall is especially useful. I use the sine and sweep function mostly. I have tried all the functions and found all to be quite easy to use. This is a great upgrade and addition to my test equipment suite.
