Good construction
I was looking for a sheath for a knife that I made. The knife has about 5.5 inches blade and 1.25 inches edge to spine. It fits almost perfectly. It is a little loose along the 1.25" but since there are two buttons, so you can choose the best one, the strap holds it down firmly around the handle. It is important to note that this only mounts horizontally on your belt. If that is what you want, it is a good choice.

Good fit not perfect
I got this sheath for my PSK Mountaineer it's a hefty all purpose survival knife with a 5.5" blade with an overall length of 10" the sheath fits pretty good i have no complaints there but when i shook the knife by hand to test it in the sheath it can come lose but the buckle keeps it from falling out this doesn't happen when the knife and sheath are on my belt thank goodness because my knife is scary sharp. I'm happy with the quality of the sheath and the ability for horizontal mount.

Good Sheath - Few Things to Note
This is a good sheath for the Money. There are better sheaths out there for sure, but not in this price point that you can get in 2 days. If you're looking for something that will work for most fixed blade knives, in the size they recommend in the description, this is a good option. Couple things to note, that might impact others: - Leather Dye dries out leather because it contains alcohol. The sheath will need a treatment of some kind when you get it (NF Oil, Saddle Butter, Beeswax, whatever), to get some moisture back in the leather. This is something I normally do so no big deal. - "Scout" style sheaths work best on Knifes with a larger/deeper Finger choil or guard. So if you have something like a Puuko, Garberg, or other knife with very little depth to the finger choil, the retention strap may not keep it in place and a traditional "Bushcraft" or dangler sheath may be better for you. - Snaps on the retention strap are seated nicely, but one is off center. Not a big deal, but worth noting. - Stitching is Nylon, so if you have any spots that come loose or fray, you can melt it to prevent it from coming out. - Straps (Belt and Retention) have about 3/4" - 1" of extra length after the snaps. This is to make it easy to undo them, however you may notice this extra length poking into you (I cut the excess off, rounded and burnished the edges) Overall the stitching is straight, the snaps are well seated and the leather is of good quality. If you're looking for a Scout style sheath for a knife with a deeper finger choil or larger bolster/guard, that is within the dimensions listed in the description, and want a Prime item, this is a good purchase.

Well made!
Snaps secure the knife very well. Stitching seems sturdy. Belt loops fit perfectly on a 2” belt. My hunting knife has a 7” long blade that is 1” wide and there is room for a much thicker blade. It would be helpful to know the sheath dimensions when ordering. Fits a larger knife with a broad blade.

Good workmanship, good price, but.....
I received this item 01/08/2021, the sheath body itself is good quality (great even). This fits my Buck 119 knife perfectly. However, the straps that loop into belt are thin and somehow they look damaged or worn out (see pictures). I am hoping this is a "one of" and not the manufacturing standard. I have not decided if I want to return the item or keep it. This is the only issue I see with this sheath, if not I would have given it 5 stars.

Don't expect high quality for inexpensive product
The very first day when I got it two of the snaps pulled through the leather, piss me off really bad was going to be a gift to my son with this brand new BK2. But what can you expect from a $30 sheath
