UPDATE FROM PREVIOUS 1 STAR REVIEW:Emailed the company and they gave me some other tricks to try to get it to work and when that didn’t help they sent me a new one that works great. So pleased with the size and range.I bought this wifi adapter because it was small and I was tired of the larger ones getting bent so easily. Checked out the reviews and thought it would be perfect but it has a horrible wifi range. I'm sitting about 5 ft. away from my router with no obstructions and that's the only way I can get about a half strength signal. DO. NOT. BUY.

My Sony computer didnt automatically download this required software when I plugged it in to usb. I emailed ufon.sales to see if there is another way to install the drivers I need for this. I was looking forward to not having a long wire stretched out from another room..but reality is saying Not Yet or maybe Never.Updating my review, they emailed back in a few hours and sent me the driver and although my computer says it's disconnected I am able to wirelessly connect to the internet now. Took me awhile to download and install it manually, but there is hope for this "almost went to electronic recycling" computer after all. Thanks UFON.

Could not download drivers w/o internet connection. Once I got them a have a great wireless connection for very few dollars

Replaced an external WiFi adapter that was giving me trouble. This one was plug and play. No setup at all required other than picking the network and setting the password. Better connection than my external one that had an antenna. Very pleased. Would buy again.

Plugged it in and basically doubled the WiFi connection speed. Hate to sacrifice a USB port to WiFi, however, my Toshiba could not get past 45 Mbps download speed while sitting less that two feet from the modem. This solved the issue for less than ten bucks.

Bought this as a replacement for one that came with a computer system I purchased.It didn't auto start on my system as I thought it would. Instead of a pop up window along to install, it asked "what do you want to do with the USB drive?"What???Do I clicked on "open folder" and then "auto install" and it set itself up from there.Lightening fast set up, lightening fast operation. I would absolutely but it again, and at $8.95 -- it's pretty hard to turn down.

Had older computer that was not wifi equipped, completely satisfied with the products function and ease of installation.

I bought this to use on my old XP, thinking I might get another year out of it. CPU did not see it was installed. Could not get it to work. Wasted my money.
