Great product
I like using this product when making salad dressings and marinating chicken. It's easy to use although I have to refer to the website for exact instructions on smaller quantities such as one tablespoon or one-quarter cup. I keep it in the fridge and it keeps well. Recommended.

Easier than buying milk
I don’t drink milk so I don’t buy it and keep it in the fridge. Unfortunately a lot of recipes call for milk so I end up feeling like I have to buy it. Instead I found this and I can keep it in the fridge to make buttermilk as needed for various recipes. It’s convenient to have you never know when you might use it. Still trying out recipes but it makes great pancakes!

Very useful to have on hand
Finally, a powdered version of a very useful pantry staple. Refrigerated buttermilk is not always available, and one usually doesn’t finish the whole carton before it sours. This is the perfect solution, and although I haven’t used it myself yet, I have it on excellent authority that it works just like the liquid kind.

I like this brand..
Nice to have on hand when I don't have the liquid kind. I really like this brand. Expiration date is way ahead in time too. The only reason I didn't give it 5 Stars is because it could have been packed nicely and it came damaged. Quick Shipping though.

Good for long term storage of buttermilk, just mix well.
Many of my bread recipes call for buttermilk, but it's not my choice of casual drink. I tried this powder and tasted it after mixing it in water; it's pretty good. I've found that warming the water and using a corded hand held mixer gives the best results, though one would argue that it might not make much difference in the dough. My breads, with this in them, taste better and have a softer, firmer texture. For some reason, not available locally. I might try them in doughnuts.

Great for empty-nesters
This product makes great pancakes. We used to be able to pick this up at the Whole Foods grocery store where we shop but found this product on line at Amazon. If you like buttermilk pancakes, this is a great product as you do not have to buy actual buttermilk which is way too much leftover unless you eat pancakes every day. We have been using this product for several years & love the pancakes it makes for the 2 of us. Great to have on hand if there are only 2 of you to make breakfast for & we highly recommend it. Great for us empty-nesters. You do need to refrigerate it after opening & using the product for the first time.

Does not spoil like fresh buttermilk.
Can't seem to find it in stores anymore. Good to have on hand. Does not spoil. Works well in baking.

Makes great pound cake
So happy I found this powdered buttermilk. I've been using it for about 5 or 6 years now . I make pound cakes regularly and never seem to have fresh buttermilk on hand. 4 tablespoons mixed with one cup of water does the job every time makes for a perfect cake every time. I don't lose any of the quality or Texture with this dry product versus fresh. I buy a few at a time because they store well in the pantry. They also work well for pancakes, waffles and biscuits or any recipe that calls for buttermilk.
