This kit is superior to all other kits, and this cup is the best one I have ever tried. As someone who has tried period cups before and has never been able to get them to work, I had almost given up on the concept. BUT, I saw that there were applicators for cups now and thought, why not? I can confidently say, the applicator is so helpful. It really makes a huge difference when trying o insert it, as I really struggled before in getting the cup far up enough. HOWEVER, for the cup to work correctly, you’re still going to have to stick your fingers up there to adjust it upon insertion, and also to remove it when the time comes. There’s really no getting around that. I find it easiest to turn the applicator on the side of the heart, insert it, and then get the cup to pop open with my right hand by gently pushing on the end by the crease and pulling it down slightly, and this usually works. It’s going to take a couple of tries to get it to work, and don’t be discouraged. Everyone’s bodies are different and it takes time to figure out what’s right for you! The wash and lube have also been so helpful. As you can see I haven’t used the purple collapsible sanitizing cup yet, as I’m planning to use it at the end of my cycle, but I expect that it will work nicely. Not pictured are the actual cups, as one of them is currently in use and the other is the large size (too big for me). For the small cup to sit comfortably inside of me I had to trim the stem, and now I find it’s really comfortable once I get it inserted! I am telling you ladies, the switch is life changing. There is a learning curve, but that’s with anything, and this is something that is actually WORTH learning for the long run. You will save so much money, time, and hassle that you would normally deal with for a regular period, not to mention that tampons are loaded with toxic chemicals and metals that are horrible for you. (Whenever I use tampons my cramps are significantly worse, but not with cups!) Just remember to relax, take it easy and don’t give up. Don’t be afraid to readjust and try again. Once you finally get it and successfully use your cup for a few days, it’s the best feeling ever. Truly LIFE CHANGING. They have plenty of videos online that I found helpful, and also many have said that Pixie has great customer service if you have any issues. This is my favorite cup/disc that I’ve tried! I’m 39, post 4 pregnancies, high cervix, extremely heavy periods. I tried a few different cups and discs when I was younger, but I loathe putting them in. I have been using a combination of tampax pearl ultra tampons, overnight pads and period underwear for awhile now. It’s getting expensive. I saw that this cup has an applicator, so I bought the entire kit. The large cup holds me over for 3-4 hours, about double the amount of time that an ultra tampon lasts, it would probably work all day for someone with a light or moderate flow. The applicator took a couple tries, but now it goes in pretty easily. Removal is also easier than previous cups that I’ve had. I have been using it for 3 days and so far I have tried the large cup, applicator and the insertion lube. All of which have been great. I plan to try the other products as well, but it was worth the price just for the cup and applicator alone. I am very pleased with this product.

Let me tell you this. I have been using so many different types of tampons, pads, liners , and even discs. I just didn’t have guts or any knowledge about period cup until I came across Pixiecup. And.. honestly these things are LIFE CHANGING. I could wear this during working out and to go out to swimming, and it STAYS and does not leak (of course you need to make sure it is placed right and not full enough). It was bit confusing at first with all that insertion and taking it out but once you get the hang of it, it is just so easy. Also, it is SO affordable considering and comparing the price I would be paying for menstrual products.. This kit honestly has everything you need to get to know about and to use the period cups. I would never go back to using tempons after this. Not to mention I purchased this in 2019. I am writing this review in 2021. I still have been using it and I have also attached a photo of the classic and luxe version of cups. I personally have used the classic one for About 1.5 yrs and the Luxe one only for couple months. BUT I prefer the luxe one because it is Softer for me and since I think I have low cervix, it fits better on me. Aside from their company and products being amazing, their customer service and their mission of giving a cup away to someone who may need it every time you buy one are awesome too. I trust this company and have been the loyal customer to their products. As you can see my products are from older version as they last for REALLY LONG time once you purchase. I am due to buy new washer, lube, and pixie steam sterilizer but they last very long. If you have any other questions, contact them and I am sure you will be happy you choose this company because they really make sure you are satisfied with their products. One of the few products in my life that I recommend 5/5 without any hesitations. Pixiecup is the best. I received this just in time for my cycle starting and was able to jump right into attempting to learn this (new to me) product and I LOVE IT. For the first time use of this product as someone who hasn’t given birth and has a regular to heavy flow early on and into a regular to mild flow halfway through my cycle the yellow cup in the tangerine package is perfect. The learning curve of insertion wasn’t anywhere near as daunting as using a tampon for the first time. Only three days to figure out a perfect seal without leakage was all it took. The wipes are perfect for public use and the gel wash is great. I cannot thank this brand enough for how accessible information on use was for me as well. Great customer service, great fit, comfortable and no need to cut the stem either which I loved. Taking it out was scarier than anything but the instruction book is well detailed to help you through any trouble shooting you might have. Oh and they weren’t lying about a 12 hour wear.

Recommend this product! I have never used a cup before buying this set. I was interested when I saw the applicator as the thought of trying to stick the cup in was always what stopped me from buying on in the past. First try was like I had been doing it for my whole life. I have only used the smaller cup but I did put the larger in the applicator to see how it fit. It is obviously alittle harder to put in the applicator but I don’t see having an issue when the time comes to use the bigger one. I do not feel the base of the cup which was another concern of mine. I didn’t want to walk and fill it but it’s actually very comfortable to me. I run around chasing kids all day and don’t have any leaks and comfortable with whatever sitting position I’m in. I did try to just use my hand with the cup and I could not keep it folded long enough to get where it needed to go. I could make it work but the applicator would definitely be a life changer for those who use the cup regularly but still not I guess a “pro” at it 😅 My only concern with this kit so far is the size of the microwave container. I wish it was just a tiny bit bigger. I can only fit one thing in at a time. Even the applicator would have to be taken apart and take two rounds. This isn’t a terrible issue to have but convenience would just be nice to just throw everything in at once. Obviously you could just use a different microwaveable container if you really wanted.

Best kit ever. I haven’t had a period for 3 years since I was on the Mirena. I had recently decided to go off birth control so I need to be prepared. I had previously used Diva Cup and fell in love with the concept of not having to use tampons or pads. I initially looked up Diva Cup again since I knew I liked it and fell upon Pixie Cup. I went with the kit because it seemed like a better deal than buying the few things I wanted separately. I didn’t plan on using the wipes, the steamer cup or even the lube. First off, packaging is super cute! I love that it comes with two cups and they each have their own individual bags. I started with the Orange cup which is a larger size since I am older and have birthed 3 children. For me, it felt uncomfortable so I went with the yellow cup and it was a much better fit. Even on my heaviest days, it holds it all. Love the cleaner. Scared to try it at first because I’m really sensitive to some products but it was good. I decided to try the steamer cup as well and it worked fine. Onto the lube. As I mentioned before I never planned on using it. I thought it was overkill and I used a diva cup before so I knew what to do. Ugh! So wrong. It took me quite a bit of times to really get the cup into position and it was still a little uncomfortable. The next time I needed to clean and reinsert the cup I looked at the lube and figured what the heck. I took the plunge and used the lube and maaaaaan SO MUCH EASIER! one pump was enough and the cup glided. I did notice the pump has no straw which I thought was defective but it’s been working so far. I haven’t used enough for the lube to go below the opening at the top of the pump so I’m curious how it’ll work. I’ll update when that time comes.

I've been using the cup since 2019. I started using it after having my second kid. At the time, I bought a large cup from a different brand (thinking that after 2 births it would be more spacey down there). I started using it and it was all good at first, but after a while, I started experiencing leakages and the cup being pushed out when I went to the bathroom or after eating(!), which was very strage for me. I always blamed it on me for not inserting it right. Fast forwarding to present times, I had a 3rd kid and recently got my period again. So I went back to the cup after 20 something-months of being period-free and I started having the same problems from before: leakages, cup falling out, feeling the stem all the time, and general messiness. At some point I started thinking: it cannot be possible that every single time I use it, I insert it wrong!, and started wondering if I had the right cup for me. Hence, I did my research and figured that there was a really high chance I was using the wrong size. I bought the Pixie kit so I could get 2 different cup sizes and started using the small cup. Ever since it's been wonderful! not one leak!!! You cannot imagine the difference it makes for me! after years of having messy periods. I could not be happier! The cup feels very comfortable. The small one can last for the whole day without the need to take it out (depending on how heavy is your flow). I like the pouch it came with so I can keep all my sanitary products there, and also like the soap, which is very gentle. I haven't used the lubricant yet, as the cup goes in pretty smoothly. As for the sterilizing cup, it works great and the cup fits perfectly! (the previous one I bought was also a bit small and the cup didn't quite fit), so I'm very happy with having decided to try another cup...I was on the brink of giving up on it! As a last general recommendation, do make sure you have the right cup size!!! It really makes a difference!

Going back to using cups ahead of a holiday and wanted to try a different brand as had not had very comfortable experiences in the past. This kit is amazing and incredible value: in addition to a discreet and spacious bag to carry everything it comes with two sizes of cup, little bags for each one, a little pot for sterilising, as well as accessories like a wash, lube, wipes… The cups are really comfortable to wear once you get used to them - much softer than the brand I had previously used. I appreciated the ability to move to a larger size as needed. Most importantly: not a single leak!!

This starter pack had everything I needed to make the switch from disposables to using a cup. The 2 different sizes were good to try, package came with good instructions.

Ondanks dat er in de productbeschrijving staat dat er een cup applicator in zit, is dat niet het geval. Als dat een must voor je is, wees dan gewaarschuwd! Ik had dit ook al gelezen in andere reviews en het er toch op gegokt, maar helaas.

Er zit geen applicator in de set, terwijl deze wel vertoond wordt op de foto. Ik had deze set juist besteld, omdat ik dacht dat er naast onder andere het wasbakje ook een applicator zat.
