Auto Meter 4357 Ultra-Lite Electric Transmission Temperature Gauge, 2 1/16"

It's a great meter when you figure out how to install it. Spent some time with Auto Meter (who were excellent in regards to customer service) who made recommendations that went against the instructions. Just know that if you install in-line and not in the pan, you'll need to add an extra ground to whatever brass T you put the sender in. That's not in the instructions. You might also run up against an issue after adding teflon tape to the threads (and Auto Meter told me not to use it, but of course when you don't, it leaks like crazy), but if you use a meter to check for connectivity, you'll be all good. Once I grounded the T, the meter worked great. Common problem for many people and the company has yet to added a solution to their FAQ. Otherwise, it works great.

Had the tranny rebuilt after 319K and added the temp gauge. had tranny shop do it.

I purchased a Ford F-350 due rear wheell with a 17 foot box with a V-10 and 4-speed auto. I also altered the intake and exhaust (just a little but lots of power gain)...so I purchased a Diablo programmer for it, so I could tune the motor better. This all being said I was VERY worried that the transmission would give up the ghost. (So I added this gauge to the hot side of the line(before the tyranny-cooler). and it has gave me peach of mind that I am not tearing the crap out of my smaller tranny. It was wasy to wire and install/

Nice gauge-does what its supposed to do. Satisfied!

this is a nice set up and workes well the only thing that sucked was i was missing green cover for the light so all i got is the red one and $5 for a replament it is stay red

Installed and works great. Instruction a little confusing on actually what is needed to work in your application.

I love Auto Meter gauges; my father worked for Auto Meter in Sycamore IL years ago. But, the sensor supplied was terrible and only lasted a week.

These Autometer guages are easy to read, install, and connect.

The guage's script is very legible, the night lighting is good. The only caveat is figuring out the installation of the sensor. My 2015 Tacoma TRD Sport V6 4wd has the towing package which has a factory installed transmission fluid cooler so I made up up a tee fitting for the sensor modifying it so the sensor probe is in the full fluid flow and installed this assembly in the hot fluid hose supply to the fluid cooler. I soldered a male 1/4" male spade connector to attach the grounding wire. This set up is working well.

Autometer guages are pretty good, they are very accurate and look great, but they fog alot and it's rather annoying.. apparently they can be send back to be resealed but I don't understand why they wouldn't do it from factory if its a know issue..still great guages for the price

Love the guage works great except the glass fogs inside under certain conditions.
