New Balance Women’s FuelCore Nergize V1 Sneaker

I LOVE THESE SHOESb. I have ordered these on repeat! When I wear them out, I just order another pair! They are so comfortable! They are light, don’t make your feet HOT! Easy to slip on, wash very well! And hold up well.

Very lightweight! I usually wear a 7 1/2 but sometimes an 8 in a training shoe. They only had the 7 1/2 and it fits perfectly! I did remove the insole and put my orthodic in and it still fit fine. I've fractured both ankles so have pins/screws/plates on the insides and outsides of both ankles so it's hard to find a shoe that doesn't rub on those. Most athletic shoes (especially the slip-ins) have a high padded back and so much padding on the sides, that they are too uncomfortable for me. I love that there is no padding! My only gripe (not with the shoe) is that I received a pair that were used and had stains on them. I didn't have time to return/exchange because of leaving on vacation so I had to clean them. I paid for new - they should be new.

I would give this shoe 1 star if I did not cut the band off. After I cut the bands off they were amazingly comfortable and supported my arches perfectly! That is why I give it a 3 star rating. Let me start at the beginning, I started working at a big box hardware store that has very hard concrete floors. I walk to this job and my old New Balance shoes were shot. I wanted to get a slip on shoe this time because I have carpel tunnel and sometimes I don't tie laces well due to not having feeling in my fingers. Ordered these and thought they were a little snug but they would break in. I loved they were lightweight with a roomy toe box. I have wide feet and only wear shoes for work because I hate having my feet constricted. These shoes were somewhat uncomfortable for a four hour shift. I worked an 8 hour shift, and (oh my God!) the pain! I felt like anacondas were strangling my feet for any life left in them. Wore them for four, eight hour shifts, walking home barefoot after each of those shifts because I could not stand the pain. I gave in and clipped the bands on the tops of each shoe and it was somewhat better. I had bought these devil shoes a size larger than I normally wear and thought they would fit okay! Apparently the tops of my feet slope higher than most. They still hurt some after I clipped the tops so I just cut the whole bands off. They were amazingly comfortable after that! I was advised to get New Balance after having plantar fasciitis. I was scared I was going to get it again with these shoes. I am glad I killed the anacondas but I won't buy this design again!
