The color is almost clear so you can not tell it is aquamarine, the plug was very hard to pull off and on and I had to make it loose

The post are real flimsy. Afraid to use might break. It’s a shame the color and size are perfect.

Exactly what I wanted for my daughter

I bought these for my girlfriend's birthday. I searched a long time on amazon and took a risk with these even though there were no reviews or user photos or anything.Pros:-Awesome gift box. Very nice presentation for a gift.-Great dark purple color. They are natural stones which don't often have this much color saturation, but I guess the heat treatment really brings out the color in the stones.-Large stones. Some of the earrings i've purchased on amazon in the past left a lot to be desired when comparing the actual item to the stock photo. These were actually about as large as you'd want to go with stud earrings.-Nice clarity and sparkle. They really look great in the sun.Cons:-The facets are not even a little bit like the stock photo of this product. Check out the pictures I uploaded to see what I am talking about.-The backs are very tiny and kind of weak. We had to really bend them to give even just enough tension to keep them in place. I can see some new backs being necessary in the near future.Overall:Even though the backs are weak and the facets are not as intricate as the photo, they are really beautiful, deep purple amethysts. If it weren't for those two little items they would definitely get 5 stars for this price. She loved them and I am totally happy with the decision to purchase these earrings.

I can only wear gold or platinum post earrings. It’s hard to find the less precious stones or created stones that are set in gold or platinum so I was happy to find these cause I like to wear amethyst. On my 30 wedding anniversary We upgraded my ring and it’s platinum. I still have my yellow gold rings. So I have 32 years of gold gifts. And 12 years of adding white gold.

I bought these earrings for a Christmas gift unfortunately the quality is so poor and defective it was impossible to use them myself or give them as the intended gift. The 'Princess' cut stones are not square nor evenly set. The metal posts are so weak and flimsy they bent trying to remove the tiny butterfly fittings. The items I received do not reflect the images and I would not consider buying jewellery online again.

Absolutely no blue colour. Perfect size, but look absolutely nothing like the photo.

I was a bit sceptical about buying jewelry online, especially for my wife whose particular. I am quite impressed by the quality of the item. No loose backings like other reviewers have had. So far so good!
