I installed two of these fixtures last weekend in a rental that I'm remodeling. The items were very well-packaged. The glass cylinder was protected by at least 3" of styrofoam on all sides.The installation process was straight-forward and only took a few minute per light. There's no insulation between the fixture and the wiring box, which means that it's easier to guide the screws into place without crap falling in your eyes (maybe not great if you're installing them on a poorly insulated top-floor ceiling).As for color they're all flat black. The only 'bronze' on the fixture is the screws.Overall these look great. I'm very pleased. I was looking for easy-install/low maintenance fixtures since these were installed in a rental. I also wanted light fixtures that would allow for easy changing of bulbs. I like that these fixtures won't collect dead bugs or get dusty. The lights look contemporary but not too modern...meaning I don't think the fixture will look dated anytime soon.I'm going to buy about a half dozen more to finish the project.Also, I think that the bad reviews for this product are actually targeted at the other lights on this page (weird that they've set up their Amazon page that way). I can't imagine how the glass would fall out of the 3-light fixture that I installed, unless it was installed incorrectly. The screws go all the way through a pre-drilled hole in the glass and it's pretty easy to see if the glass is properly hung. However I did handle the glass with extreme care while I installed it.Anyway, glad I found these, they seem like a pretty good value, and perfect for a rental unit.

Perfect for my 8’ ceiling entryway. Casts a good amount of light for the size. The gold tone metal is understated and perfect with my champagne gold hardware.

Just what I wanted for my remodeled bathroom!

We replaced an outdated dim light fixture in our hallway with this sleek brass/gold fixture. The installation was very easy, the fixture is very well made which I wasn’t really expecting given the price. The metal frame is not flimsy and the shade is a nice thick milk glass. Bonus that it provides more light then I expected.

Great looking, updated light in our entryway. Rating it 4 stars because one of the outer rings was broken (not very well welded), and we received 2 sets of short screws instead of 3 long and 3 short. An easy replacement through Amazon, but still not ideal. Make sure you read the reviews for the light YOU are going to purchase. This one is fantastic, while the other listed in conjunction with it seems very faulty.

I always read reviews, negative and positive. I saw a number of negative reviews on saying changing bulbs is hard or impossible, how can it be any harder than when they were first installed, same process. And a few with falling fixtures or globes, that can only be attributed to one thing, poor installation. We are happy with the fixtures, easy to install and change bulbs. It’s just the glass globe, having to keep it clean but hay I knew it and bought it.

This is a beautiful Light fixture. The install was the easiest I've encountered so far with installing fixtures. I'm a little confused by some previous reviews that had issues with the glass falling out. After examining it after the install, there's no way the glass can fall out. But I'll keep an eye on it. We bought 2 fixtures and put in some LED Edison style bulbs. The kitchen is now 5000 times brighter than before. We love it!

Pictures give this beauty no justice, what so ever!! It is absolutely gorgeous! I took the advice on reviews and bought the edison clean bulbs for it. SO glad I did. So go ahead a buy the edison clean bulbs, you wont regret it!Its not the easiest to install, you just need patience with it. And you will also have to wipe all your figure prints off of it once it's installed.Then after that, the light will shine bright like a diamond! 😊I recommend this light %1000. Decided to replace our ceiling fans in kitchen and dining room with something more modern looking and I wanted something very easy to replace bulbs in because I am getting older and taking apart a light is hard to do. These are nice and open bottomed so easy to replace bulbs. The light was easy to install. The first one we put the metal frame up then set the glass inside. This created a ton of finger prints and its very hard to get the glass nice and clean and shiny when its installed so the second one for the dining room we installed the glass and metal as one unit which helped keep prints off. The plain LED bulbs that look like a regular bulb aren't as fancy as the bulbs used in the sellers picture with the gold centers so that does take away from the black and gold vision but I like the lights a lot. Mine were the black even tho my pic looks gold framed

Easy to install, looks great! Like that the opening is at the bottom as opposed to some that are at the top, that way dust doesn't sit at the bottom of the bowl. Looks expensive but bought for a reasonable price!
