I've gone through 8 dog beds in recent years. I tried the thick fluffy kind, the thin indestructible canvas type, the elevated hammock kind, and the thin crate mat kind. Each time I spend a little more and learn a new lesson on what to avoid and what to look for. The 2 most important things for me are durability and comfort. Good quality foam is what solves both problems at the same time. Beds filled with polyfil or any other "fluff" may be soft and squishy, but it will get clumped into the corners and the middle will be empty. This makes dogs dig/scratch holes in the bed while trying to get comfy. I learned this the hard way $20-50 at a time by making sacrifices to save money. This bed is the culmination of those lessons learned This bed is very durable and that's my first focus. My dog has gradually ruined almost every bed cover trying to fluff it up before I learned to stop wasting money on stuffed beds. The cover on this bed is well stitched, the zipper works well, and the material is very strong. I've tried more durable beds, but my dog didn't like them and wouldn't lay on them because they were thin and filled with fluff. This bed is really comfy and really durable. My dog chooses this bed over the couch, recliner, and both of his other beds that have survived. I can't offer a stronger endorsement on this bed's comfort than he can. This bed has good quality foam in the pillow ring around it and very thick foam in the bottom. This thick supportive foam is what keeps him from scratching to fluff up the bed. He just spins a couple of times and plops down. So the comfort actually lends to the durability too. My dog is 105 lbs and cannot bottom-out this foam. In fact, I've laid on this bed with him and didn't bottom-out the foam either. This is EXTREMELY high quality foam and when my dog finally wears out either of his other beds, this will be the one I replace them with.

This is a great dog bed. The cover is durable and the cushion is nice and thick. The cover washes well and the zippers have held up nicely. I bought a medium and while it is an inch bigger than the very similar Pet Fusion bed, the Pet Fusion replacement cover fits just fine. In comparison to the Pet Fusion, the foam is a bit more "squishable" (still plenty firm)- this is why the cover fits. All things considered, the Pet Fusion is a bit nicer only because the foam is slightly firmer. When I bought this Amazon Basics bed the price was half off... totally worth the cost savings!

UPDATE: after more than 2 years and several washes my white dog’s bed (Bernie) is still like new, does not even show signs of wear and tear. My brown dog’s bed (Teddy) is the same, like new, although, his bed has been put away, sadly he passed in August of 2021 :( I purchased 2 beds for my 2 little brats, beds were delivered about a week ago. I ordered the large ones thinking the medium would be too small for my babies, but the beds are huge as can be seen on the pictures. For reference, my dogs weight 20 and 25 lbs, they both measure about 24” in length from head to tail, but the white dog is just taller than the brown one, they both sleep either curled up, on their side or on their back, they also love to sleep on our beds and rest their heads on the pillows, so I thought the bolsters were cute and they might like them. Both of my dogs have hip problems, so I decided to get them better quality beds. The memory foams came rolled up. I let them flat on the floor for 2 days as indicated, one of the memory foams is very soft, but the other one is more firm, I guess it will eventually break in. My dogs seem to like their new beds, although they still get off their beds and sleep on the floor, but I think it’s because the weather is still hot. So far the beds seem of good quality and very sturdy and I like the option of using the waterproof cover if your pet tends to have accidents.

So I just opened this item and am thoroughly impressed at the quality. The foam is very thick and plush, the fabric feels like a canvas/polyester texture (easy to clean), and the fact that the foam has a plastic cover is a huge plus. I ordered this item without checking the sizing so I need to go a size down for my dog but already all of the dogs have climbed into the bed together. For the design and functionality this is a great priced bed. I would suggest getting a blanket or something soft to go on top because it lacks the furry lining that most pet beds have to make them cozy.

In order to lure my lab into my home office space during the day, I got him this bed for next to my desk. It worked, he got in and hasn't really wanted to get out since. He made it clear that his "night" bed was not up to par with this one, so I just ordered a second. I ended up getting the medium size (36x29) for my 80 lb dog, and it's perfect. He likes to sleep curled up, and this provides ample space. He can stretch out too, he rests his chin on the bumpers and is quite comfortable. I've purchased a lot of dog beds over the years, and this one is hands down the best quality with the most features for the best price I have EVER seen. Don't hesitate. The materials are high quality, everything is brand new (some other brands of pet beds have reviews indicating the purchaser received used foam-yuck), there is a true waterproof cover for the main mattress portion in addition to the canvas cover, and the foam is THICK. Get one or two for your fur-kid, you'll both be happy.

L’ho sostituita a una cuccia di plastica che la mia cucciola stava distruggendo, avevo paura essendosi abituata all’altra che non le piacesse dato che è già successo invece L’ADORA dev’essere proprio comoda perché si fa grandi dormite. Non l’ho ancora lavata ma e sfoderabile e lavabile ed è comunque ben fatta ! Vedremo se resisterà col tempo !

Super pleased with the product. Build quality is high. The memory foam is good too. Easy to assemble. And detachable parts makes it easy to clean in the washing machine. I have bought it for my 6 month old Golden Retriever. Size looks sufficient for his adult size too! He will take some time getting used to the bed. Hopefully that happens soon!
