A lot of times you order things online and the sizing is way off, the material is flimsy, and there is string everywhere. I ordered this by the weight, not the measurements, and the XL (40-60lb) fits my 50 lb pit mix perfectly. I can't get over the high quality of this, either. This could easily replace one of her winter jackets in our brutal MN winters, I think. It's comfy, although she's not crazy about sweaters, but it would be too hot to just wear casually around the house or unless it is really cold.

This sweater is absolutely adorable, and I am so glad I bought it! My dog is 55 pounds, and it fits his body well. He does have a very thick neck, though, so the sweater stretches out quickly after a wash and sits beyond his shoulders. The end is a little long for his body, which causes it to curl.It is a good quality sweater, though. The stripes on the chest are a cute details and the heart mom is just so precious. It would only be better if it was fit more to my dog, but that's a challenge to all dog sweaters in general.

It’s very cute and seems sturdy. Got an XL for my 45 pound Brittany spaniel (as per the other reviews, I sized up). The arm holes are awkward for her body shape (pictured) and the neck hole is a little tight as well. It was a struggle to get it on. To be fair, she’s uncomfortable in most clothes (hence her face in the photo). I’ll be keeping it seeing as it’s only going to be used in the winter for walks.

Bad sizing/shape... While it was long enough for my dog, the chest size & arm holes are terribly deigned! It's too tight across the front, and too short from neck to belly. The arm holes were huge, and way too far back - which made it very uncomfortable for him - cutting into his armpits, as well as defeated the purpose of the sweater. I wanted him to be covered, cozy & warm! Instead he looks awkward & displeased, and does not like wearing it. The overall quality of the sweater is great - very nice fiber, and seems well made/durable. I don't know how it holds up in a washing, as I am returning before having the chance to do so. I'd say that this just needs an improved design, so as to properly cover/fit larger dogs. (This was the XL size, after all - and my pooch is only 50lbs, and mid sized!)

I had been eyeballing this sweater for two years now and could never push myself to make the purchase because of the price, but I’m so glad that I did. I wish it was a bit more affordable, but that’s my only complaint. It fits my Irish Setter male perfectly, he’s about 55 lbs and a skinny little thing, but he’s tall and lanky with a barrel chest so we always size up. It’s 100% wool so I will very likely be hand washing it and air drying, but that’s okay. Good purchase!

I love this sweater!!! As some have mentioned, it does seem to have an awkward fit through the shoulders but I just kinda shift it and adjust it so it''s farther up on his body. My 63 lb boxer seems to like wearing it. He hasn't tried to get out of it and it's thick and heavy enough to keep him warm. It is very good quality--I was really impressed. I bought the xl for my boy and it fits well and it''s 100% wool so I expect it will hold up for quite some time! I would definitely buy again from this company and recommend this sweater!

This sweater is super nice and super easy to put on! My dog has an awkward body so it was kinda tight in the chest area but stretching it a bit helps! Would totally recommend because it is soooo hard finding a good quality sweater for large dogs! Will order more!!

This sweater is real quality warmth and thickness. I love the heart design. It fits my dog well. I am really happy with this purchase.

Very cute but a bit too long for my dog. It hangs over the end of his body. But super cute. The XL is a little snug on him (he is 50 pounds) so I do not recommend this sweater for dogs larger than 55-60 pounds!

This fits my Standard Poodle well, she is lean and 50 pounds. I wish the material covering the belly went longer towards her back legs as it does not provide much warm for her belly

My boy is 55lbs so the sizing is decieving, but love the style of this sweater! Easy to put on and remove.
