Best sub ever.
This is one of the best made subs out there. Very smooth bass and I have never had any distortion. It handles power very well. I have it hooked up to a Kenwood 2000W max amp pushing 1000W RMS turned down a hair. Very deep and responsive.I listen to mostly hard rock and it keeps up with the double bass no problem. Have tested it with rap, rock, pop, and dj mashups. Absolutely no distortion so far.I have it in a sealed box.

Amazing SQ subwoofer!!!
I recently purchased this subwoofer for my new (to me) 2012 Infiniti G37S 6MT. I paired it with an Alpine MRX-55 which had a birth sheet rating it at 588W RMS at 2ohms. I was worried I wouldn't be able to hear the single subwoofer through the thick back seat especially on the freeway, but this speaker's sound travels well even at low volumes while driving on the freeway. I used to have 4 Alpine type-S 10s, and this gets almost as loud as all 4 and sounds WAY better doing it. I was skeptical of this off-brand speaker and researched for a month in audio forums and calling about 30 car audio shops around the country before pulling the trigger... All said and done, it was right at $1,015 total to get this in my car including a fiberglass, sealed enclosure with a volume of 0.85cf and a bass knob installed right below my stick shift. WORTH EVERY PENNY! It sounded like I installed an entirely new sound system in my car. This was exactly what I needed to round out the bottom end and complements the stock Bose system amazingly! I've had this im my car for about 2 months now and I listen to all types of music except metal with it and this speaker never ceases to amaze me. Also, don't let the fact that this speaker is designed for sound quality fool you; it still gets plenty loud to shake the whole car and annoy the neighbors, but my gain knob is usually in the bottom 20% and the gain on the amp is at about 30%. I don't need it any louder but take comfort in knowing that it could get much louder if I ever decided to replace my stock Bose speakers with something louder and clearer as well to pair with it's abilities.
