Welch Allyn Replacement Handle - Direct Plug-in 🔌
Why did you pick this product vs others?: I was looking for a Welch Allyn replacement handle for my diagnostic set. I specifically wanted one that was portable and directly plugs into wall outlet. This product exceeded expectations and fit all Welch Allyn 3.5v instrument heads. Value for money: Replacing the handle was more cost effective than buying a new diagnostic set.

Not direct plug in
I ordered this to have a direct plug into the wall outlet to recharge. This has an adapter that plugs into the outlet, then connects to the handle - sort of like a laptop charger. The charger also has European prongs with a converter to US style prongs. This is an additional piece of equipment to keep track of. On the plus side, it can convert to regular C batteries. Not sure if I'm going to return it or keep it at this time. There is another listing for the same item number that does not say IEC Plug Type-A, that shows a picture of the handle plugging directly in like I wanted. In the questions for that, it is unclear if you can convert to regular C batteries.
