If you children only recognize letters then it is better to start with PreK first. This one comes second. We use it as a standard workbook in our preschool classroom for our children who graduate from the PreK book. It is great for foundation building. However, as a teacher, I think they can add in more work on introducing the family sound words and rhyming sounds.

I ordered this along with some other grades for I have five children of different ages. They are very nice and I enjoy using them.

This is the second book I bought from this collection. My son particularly enjoys the cutting and pasting section of this book. Perforated pages are very useful to tear off pages and use when travelling

This book is part of our homeschooling curriculum and it helps out so much. The writing and tracing my daughters penmanship has gotten a lot better with how they show and she’s learning more and more as she goes.
