Can I put the cake and buttercream frosting right on it without covering it with foil?** A: I have always covered them with foil. I have run water on the white part and it did not leak through. I know the bottom is not grease proof. **Q: Can these be used in the oven? As for Cheesecake, so I don't lose my spring form cake bottom when I bring my cheesecake to someones house?** A: I don't think I would do that. Try using parchment circle or a piece of parchment under your crust. Then just slide the cheesecake on to the round or a serving plate. **Q: Do these have a perforated hole in the middle?** A: Yes they do. **Q: Are these thin enough that wooden dowels can go through them to support a three tier cake?** A: Oh, yes they are! I use fat plastic straws to support the weight under each tier and a sharpened dowel will punch right through all the tiers to anchor them for no sliding. Ich verwende es jedoch als Zwischenplatte bei mehrstöckigen Torten. Der Karton kann gut zugeschnitten werden, ist relativ dick und eignet sich daher gut für mehrstöckige Torten.
