Good, but not nearly as good as I thought...
I bought this game last summer, and have played all the way through it. With that said, here's what I think...I love Yu-gi-oh! I've played the card game, read the manga, and have even watched the TV show. I really like the story of Yugioh, and I enjoy playing the card game from time to time, but since it's hard to find someone who wants to duel with you I figured I'd buy one of the many Yu-gi-oh video games. After reading all of the reviews on all the available games, I chose this one because it's a GBA game so I can play it on the go just like the real card game, and because... Well, I'd hate to sound stupid, but c'mon...the name of the game just sounds so cool! But sadly, this game isn't so cool after all...Although this game does follow the offical rules for the yugioh trading card game, and there are many assorted duelists from the TV show to duel with, there are still many problems with it which I will list below.Pros: Game follows the offical rules of the game.Has many of the duelests from the TV show.Contains over 1,000 of the offical game cards, including the rare ones.Text can be changed from English to Spanish (Espanol), French (Francais), German (Deutch), Italian (Italiano), and Japanese. And it follows the awesome story of the TV show/manga.Cons: The game glitches out and freezes whenever you play a card that requires the role of dice.Almost all of the duelists have the same powerful cards, cards that they dont actually have! Since when does everyone have cards like Raigeki, Summoned Skull, Dark Hole, and Slate warrior?!Odion is almost impossible to beat without the Jinzo card or the Royal Decree card!Forget about using your own deck in the game because unless you have an incredible deck of cards, with lots of monsters over 2500 attack points!Monster cards have no animation when on the field, and you know what that means... You dont get to see your monsters breathing fire or casting spells at your enemy's monsters! And no Egyptian God cards exist in this game!Final thoughts: I didn't snap the game in half and throw it into the garbage! I was testing it's durability, and I placed it into the garbage because it's garbage and I thought it should be with it's family. Hahahaha! :^D *Just kidding!*Honestly though, I just didnt enjoy playing this game even half as much as I thought I would. I recomend that you buy another one of the Yu-gi-oh games. Yu-gi-oh, Eternal duelist soul and duels of the roses are all good choices.Otherwise, you're better off just buying a Starter Deck and dueling with your friends or siblings. If you plan on playing this game, use these passwords, you're gonna need 'em... Utterly disappointed beyond belief!
These people didn't even send me the correct item!!! I asked for Yu-Gi-Oh WorldWide Edition: Stairway To The Destined Duel, even the receipt they sent with the incorrect game says Yu-Gi-Oh WorldWide Edition: Stairway To The Destined Duel, BUT noooo instead they sent me Eternal Duelist Soul! I am so upset, it's an outrage that this even happened, I'd be satisfied if they would send me what I actually paid for and I hope they see my review so they'll send it cause I'm angry

Wow... whats the big deal?
This game i might say is Unbelievably unaventful. The gameplay is very nice, and it includes alot of new cards and strategies. but i found that the story itself is very as ive said before, uneventful. the story lines in all previous games have been a progressing five person enimy level, but this one really does not even have that. I would avoid getting this game if possible, and look more toward dungeon dice monsters if at all possible

Bad user interface and weak AI
I am very dissappointed by the user interface and the game AI. Here is what I am botherd by:1. When the opponent plays, the cards flip and attack super fast and you can't see what's happening until its all over. Then if you want to see a card in grave yard you have to search to the bottom of the pile to see it rather than look on top of the pile.2. In general the game doesn't allow you to view the details of all the cards in play at any time (only the names). This is useless unless you've memorized all 1000 cards. For example: a. If you have a magic card in play and the opponent plays a card that allows you to use the magic card, the game asks you if you want to activate the card...however, it doesn't allow you to view your opponets card even though his card is face up (it just gives you the name of the card). In otherwords, you can't read the card details thus you can't figure out what the opponents card does in order to decide if you should activate your card. b. Some cards allow you to draw three cards and discard two, however, during the discard phase you can't view the card details of your choices to discard (only the name of the card).3. The AI is also weak. For example, my opponent had 3 monsters able to attack me and I had none, but rather than attack the computer played a magic card that distroyed all monsters on the field....go figure.I had high hopes for this game but the poor user interface spoils it for me.

Yugioh!
Product is awesome! Used to play this game everyday. Package was too big for the cartridge I think. Could’ve been smaller.

Tolles Game
Das Spiel für den GBA ist eines der besten der Reihe die ich gespielt habe. Das tollste Feature ist das Einlesen der Spielkarten ins spiel ( sprich die Nummer die unten links auf den Spielkarten steht ) :-)
