For the gardeners who are always gardening!
Let me start off with if you do not plan on keeping up on thinning you will not end up with flowers. This mix contains nettle goosefoot plants that help the smaller flowers growing in super sunny areas. There are a few problems with this. 1 if you do not thin out the goosefoot they will tower over the rest of the plants thus absorbing all the water and or shading them to much from the sun. But do not pull all of them out if you are planting in a sunny area. 2 nettle goosefoot can be toxic and has been known to cause breast cancer and other harmful things such as kidney failure. So please WEAR GLOVES when gardening and always wash your hands after. Now that is just a basic warning if you are a beginner. All in all I am in love with this mix. There are tons on seeds. Extremely fast germination if you prep your ground and don’t just throw them on top or they will die shortly after sprouting.I’d also recommend downloading a plant identification app to your phone. It makes it that much more exciting when you see a new flower pop up. The one I use let’s me identify the plant before it even flowers which in itself puts the mind at ease. So your not thinking the whole time did I just plant a bunch of weeds and give up when all the babies look the same. I held out just for people like you and me and I’ve had tremendous success my back yard is looking wonderful. Will update with a picture as soon as the flowers are in full bloom.

Lots of germination. Tall plants
I planted them in February in Northern California near the Bay. I pulled weeds in a 2 sq ft patch, then sowed by hand trying not to seed too much. I then moved on to the next two square feet doing the same thing until I had weeded and planted about 60 sq ft. I watered lightly every day until things got established. I like the result, but plants got taller and lankier than I expected. I still have a lot of seed left over to try again next year.

Beautiful. Easy.
Seems expensive; however, excellent germination and coverage. I just tossed the seeds around the yard. I’m sure there’s a more elegant way to ensure growth etc. but it worked! Beautiful flowers. Back to buy another bag.

About 6 sprouts out of a 1 pound bag
I planted an area of my back yard with a full bag of these seeds. Prepped the soil, and laid down a nice layer of bagged top soil. Kept it moist with daily watering. Out of entire 1 pound bag, I got about six plants sprouting up. I don't know if it isn't suited for growing at elevation, or what the problem, but I had extremely low germination rates. Total waste of money.
