My kids LOVE this stuff. They're 4 years old (I have two of them). They have dirty blond hair and the color is bright in their hair. The color does come off when it's still wet so be careful about your kids touching things with their hair, like when they hug you or if they bang into the wall. And after it dries, it will rub off onto things slightly, leaving a faint color impression; Such as of they sleep with it in their hair, the pillow will probably show some color transfer. But it washes out of clothes and off of walls, and easily washes out of their hair. My girls thought it was as much fun to watch the color wash down the drain as it was to wear the color. We were gifted some hair chalk last year. I would recommend this hair color over hair chalk every time. It's so much easier to put/comb in and wash out than the hair chalk. And the kit comes with a hair comb to make it easier and so your own combs won't be stained.

The colors don’t come up as bright as expected. It’s more muted/dull. I used a fair amount of the orange color on my kid and it didn’t brighten up. We tried using the brush as directed but it took much longer than expected so we ended up doing the hair in sections, by rubbing it in with our hands.Washing it out was easy. All the color washed out well and didn’t stain the skin.

Bought this for my 6 year old daughter who requested purple ends for her brown hair. I wasn’t sure how it would end up, but it looks subtle and nice! I combed it into her hair after she showered, then used a blow dryer while combing. There wasn’t mush transfer. While applying I used gloves to protect my hands, and a thick towel to cover her shoulders. Overall easy to use.

The paste is hard to apply. The color does not stay. I used it in my daughters hair and it dyed her scalp for a couple days but the color on the hair rubbed out throughout the day. It also does not work well on brunette hair. You can barely see the color. After applied, it was crusty like using a gel. We followed all the application instruction. A lot of the color came out as we blew her hair dry. It is a complete waste of money.

Some colors work better than others but that's obvious depending on ones hair color. But takes a bit to dry and comes out on everything.

My kids love this so simple and easy to apply. Colors are perfect in their hair.

Great for children, took 2 washes to get out of white blonde hair. This will be great for summer break.

rather light in color and something to play with, but not really something i'd buy again.
