Such a great idea. Does its job. We dont have to actually lock it. The point is to help you not look at your phone. I don’t think we realized how much we looked at our phones until we used this jail. We put our phones in here for 2 hrs each day. During that time we have dinner and play a family game. My 5 year old son loves it. He collects our phones each night and loves to put them in the jail.

A 4 year old could break this with just a pinky. With that being said, it works. It not only keeps my phone away from me, it also is a great place to store my everyday carry items.

So disappointed in this product- needed a cell phone jail for my teens and this is so flimsy that it would only delay their obtaining their devices by a few minutes. The door doesn't' even close flush to the top of the cage, so it sticks up. It is cheap flimsy plastic and would be easily breakable. The lock is so small and cheaply made that my toddler could snap it off and the keys were a joke- they were so tiny that I am afraid they will get lost. they definitely couldn't' go on a keychain or anything

I’m a teacher and use this as a deterrent for students. If I catch them on their phone, I put it in this phone jail. Very effective for school, but this thing is NOT sturdy at all. It was kind of hard to put together, and even after hot-gluing it, it still does not stay together very well. It’s VERY fragile. The lid can pop off very easily. Plus, it does not hold bigger phones (newer Galaxy’s and IPhone Max series) well. Those can also make the lid pop off because they stand too tall. It’s not very expensive, so you kinda get what you pay for. Decent gag gift and good for teachers in the classroom, but any serious use (not sure where that might be honestly lol) skip it.

Although it is not the sturdiest quality and could easily be pulled apart by the any part other than the door itself, it was perfect for the game I needed it for!

Every teacher should have this. I work in a nursing school where cell phones are not allowed in Classes or Clinical. Students can't help but take them out. I put their phones in jail if I see them and they can still see their phone.

I got this for my daughter for xmas. She requested it and is so happy with it. It holds several phones and even has keys. It's made of plastic so in an emergency if you could not find the keys you could break it open if you had to. Thanks for reading my review

I didn't give it 1 stars for the simple fact that I should have read every single thing in the description even though they weren't completely honest. I bought this as a toy for my daughter to put her bad guy toys in. It doesn't need to be a legitimate metal little jail but it barely wants to stand on its own. It came in a bad that was opened with no instructions and a few pieces of hair inside inside one of the inside bags. I just don't know. All you have to do is tip it over and it falls apart so I don't think that it suits its purpose but I'll just super glue it and it will work as a toy I guess.
