High quality, strips easily, protective jacket very good
Nothing to dislike about this product. It's 12 gauge, which allows plenty of power to the brakes versus competitors that are lighter gauge. Good quality, reasonable price and its working fine for me!

Decent cable for trailers with electric brakes
I needed to replace the entire brake system on our 2013 travel trailer after a total mechanical and electrical failure during our last outing, and decided that since the OEM cabling needed to be replaced, I'd run two separate 12 ga. cables back from the front junction box to each axle to minimize voltage loss and provide redundancy in the event that one cable connection failed. I selected this cable since it came in various wire gauges, was available in a suitable length, and was competitively priced. I've completed the job and was generally impressed with how the cable was packaged and how it "handled" during the fitting and installation process. The only reason that I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that the individual copper strands making up the conductor in each wire seem to be thicker than what might be desirable (i.e. each wire in the cable is a bit more rigid than I'd anticipated) given that it needs to be able to flex constantly where it is routed down from the trailer frame to the axle when the trailer is being towed. I did ensure that each cable was in a wire loom and had a stress-free "curl" in this area so it could follow each axle as it moved up and down without even a hint of binding or tightening, but as an electrical engineer with decades of experience in system installations I do believe that this cable would better suited for its stated application if it was more flexible.

Good wire
This wire worked out perfectly to rewire the brakes on my Keystone Passport travel trailer. It doesn’t show the wire gauge on the jacket though, that’s my only recommendation.
