How well does this hold up for deep tissue massage?

very well. It's very sturdy so I was able to apply a lot of pressure to my husband's poor back. He was in so much pain that he kept wincing, but by the time I finished working on his back he wasn't wincing any more because the massager was so effective. I used three different creams on his back because I didn't know which one would be the most effective and we were desperate to relieve his pain.

Does the ball roll in the case or is it stationary?
