Amazon Basics Micromink Sherpa Blanket- 220 x 240 cm, Plum

After searching on amazon night after night reading review after review I stumbled across this.Bit of a gamble I thought as it has the words amazon basics in it, however, do NOT Let this put you off.I ended up purchasing 2 the same evening, and this one is by far the more superior.It's soft, thick, chunky and heavy. It's way better quality than I expected.It's doesn't leak fluff, and it washes well without loosing colour.I'm extremely surprised and cannot believe the price of these.If you've been searching for a snuggly blanket, this is the baby you're looking for, trust me !!!

Update as I've washed it a lot and the white fur is getting less moulty it's still happening but I've turned it over and have the Velvet side on the sleep side. It's as soft and doesn't moult at all.If I had got all the benefits of this blanket/throw without any of the awful dusting of lint everywhere from the cream side then it would have got 5* plus but it sheds a finely soft down like substance everywhere that it will I'm afraid end up in a bag. I may try to sew the thing in half and hide the cream wool like fur inside and use it in winter on my sofa or bed. If that lint keeps happening it will go in the bin and be a waste of money. Such a shame as it could have been brilliant without that shedding of fine lint.

I don't always add a review, but I always research things within an inch of it's life. I was so near buying a cotton herringbone blanket, but I am so glad I didn't, as this blanket is absolutely brilliant. I bought the 220cm x 240cm size and it's very generous on my double bed. The colour is perfect for me, but for your info, it is slightly more grey/beige. Very warm and cosy. Although it's relatively lightweight, it's heavy enough not to fall off. Just buy one and save yourself the time of trawling the internet for a good blanket!

I absolutely love it. I love blankets I ve got actually more than enough 😁 but I just had to have this one.Fantastic value. So soft and comfy. Highly recommended.

I actually bought this to cut to size for my pet ferrets as it looked better quality than using pet fleece from the shops. Though I might have to get one for myself! It’s lovely quality, very soft and a nice size. Better value and quality if using for pets.

In the past i had bought Bedsure Sherpa throws for my Misses daughter and mother in law and they loved them. Then i seen a deal for the super king version from Amazon basics for £13.32 so i thought i would take a gamble and bought 2. I wasn't disappointed, we have just put one on the bed over the quilt and were warm as toast The misses said there isn't really any difference between the two sherpa vs amazon basics and to be honest i couldn't see the difference. I can't comment on wash ability as of yet but i did get 2 super king size throws for the price i paid for one double sherpa throw

For those who despise duvets or who just want a 5-star snuggly warm not-too-heavy blanket to curl up in on a long winter's night, then this blanket is for you. This blanket is perfect. Firstly, it's huge (easily fit a double bed). Secondly it is not heavy. On one side there's soft as down faux lamb's wool, & on the other sumptuous velveteen. Can't get the cat out of it. Or me either :)

Bought this blanket for my double bed for the winter as I don't like swapping out my duvet every few months. When it arrived it had an odd smell but this disappeared after the first wash and in terms of comfort this blanket is extremely soft and definitely worth the money. Before buying I noticed some people said it sheds a lot and you end up with fluff everywhere but I haven't had any of these problems in the month or so that I've had it. I've also used this blanket when watching TV as well and it keeps you very warm and cozy, although it can be a bit heavy which I like but some might not.
