I have very thick coarse hair. I use a flat iron but wanted the ends to curl up etc. Tried the cheap route first to just see if this kind of tool was for me and it was. I then began ordering many to test and all were so cheaply made it was terrible. I ordered 5 or so and all felt like a cheap carnival toy. All had the controls where your hand rests and each time I used I would either turn off/on or change the temps. I searched a long time and saw this one, saw unlike ALL the rest, this was MADE IN KOREA vs CHINA and was encouraged. This does cost a ton more than all the rest but boy its worth it. The feel is great, the performance is great! The controls are on the handle but they have it in a way that you don't alter during use. To turn on/off etc you have to hold down the power button and the control simultaneously to operate which eliminates accidental control interference. Buy this! When I can, I want to try their blow dryer too.

Only lasts a year
My mom really likes this curler but beware. They only last a year. It just suddenly stops working without reason. I have bought 4 in the last 4 years…. It has broken again. The last one I purchased was in May 2022. I told her to find another brand to like. Curlers should last more than a year.
