I don't know why people write bad reviews about this light. Sure, there is brittle styrofoam packaging, but who cares.The light is awesome. I love it.

Unique light!
Unique lighting. Just what we were looking for! Although we’ve purchased the light bulbs specifically for this light, it can be a little brighter.

Stunning lighting for our home
We ran these in tandem. Great steampunk esthetic. We love the look and they work very well. Easy to install and great comprehensive instruction.

Too small!
Too small! Needs to be 48" - 60" long. Cable needs to be fancier and industrial connector poles at lamp and longer cable. Optional extension chain and cable with quick connectors to allow running power straight to wall and down to exciting outlet.Great idea, good start! So were going to look elsewhere.

Smaller than the pictures suggest, but still a good value and look
Much smaller in person than in the pictures. But, they look super nice in the right setting. I bought another one and am very happy with them

Nice Concept: But Fails to Deliver
The lamp fixture itself, I really like. The problem is that the product misses on the final delivery. What I mean is that the wiring harness shows being run up through the chain and into the upper hanger unit. The wire is not only short a little, it is short by probably at least 2 feet. You have to run the wire straight from the lamp fixture to the mounting fixture. You cannot run the wire up through the chain for a clean look. Also the instruction sheet shows a small double female plug with screw retainers to connect the wires from the outlet to the wiring for the lamp. There is no plug, you will have to use wire nuts. The lamp is a little smaller than the pictures lead you to believe. If you do not mind getting an extra length of wire and replacing the wire that the unit comes with you can then run the wire for a cleaner look. The lamp runs the race, only to stop short of the finish line. I cannot recommend, as you will have to have a little more than just being a shade tree electrician due to the extra work involved to do a correct installation.

Amazing!
The industrial look of this light is amazing. Everyone who sees the light wants to know where we got it from. It is a conversation piece and works very well.
