Really good hard drive for my Synology DS223J
I bought two of these 14TB drives for my Synology DS223J NAS. So far they are working great! NO bad sectors or any other issue. They seem to be reliable hard drives. They aren't noisy at all. I have the NAS under my bed and I can barely hear it. They are decently priced compared to the competition. I highly recommend this product!

Simple installation for cache on Synology
Simple plug-n-play solution (Synology DS1520+). Works well to speed up delivery of Plex menus with lots of thumbnails. Bonus is that this is on the approved hardware list from Synology (check your model on the compatibility list first) and the price is attractive when compared to the OEM offering and slightly larger capacity too.

Check Warranty
After receiving the drives (3-14TB), I checked on Seagate website for warranty and it said "Invalid Serial Number." So I chatted with Seagate representative and they said that they were used and the label was wrong in addition. I decided for that much money, I should be getting new so I returned them.

Seagate 14TB drives
Need to add drives to my Drobo NAS. Worked out perfectly. Installed in a flash; and I'm up & running!!!

works great so far
No issues. Bought pair for my DS718+. speeds are great. It is a bit noisier when reading/writing than my WD Red HDD, but I don't have any issue with it.

Seagate stands behind its products. I had two older Seagate NAS Drives fail - no questions asked, just replaced.I will always choose Seagate over other brands because how well they accept returns.100% Seagate.
