well for me, I used arduino mega 2560 r3, arduino uno r3 & fez panda ii, but if I had chose only one of those to work with, I say the mega 2560 r3 it had much more extra pins & flash memory 256 KB (the uno 32KB & the panda ii 148KB).PS. arduino due has all the benefits of the mega plus more flush memory & clock speed if you don't want to buy this instant the arduino tre looks very interesting, but I don't know the release date they only say it's coming soonhttp://arduino.cc/en/Main/ArduinoBoardTre
