HUE Women's Styletech Blackout Tights

I had never given much thought to blackout tights until recently. I never knew there was such a category whenever I shopped for tights. I learned about their existence by reading a book on fashion recently. Suddenly I needed to have a pair of these tights I had never heard of before. The author suggested some good brands which I've forgotten since then.I did a search on Amazon and chose the cheapest offering which was No Nonsense brand. I put them on and they seemed no different than any other black pair of tights I've bought in the past and they certainly weren't blackout. Added to that they got a huge run in them within 15 minutes of wearing.Back to Amazon I went because I remembered seeing Hue brand from the time before. The tights were considerably more expensive than No Nonsense, but if they were truly blackout and didn't get a run within the first few minutes of wearing, it would be worth the price. They definitely are darker, though I still noticed that I could see my skin peek through around the knees when I was seated. I was under the impression that blackout tights wouldn't show any skin peeking through at all. But maybe not. I have nothing to compare them to other than regular black tights I've worn in the past and the so-called blackout tights that No Nonsense offers.Overall, I'm pleased with these and would purchase them again in the future.

The sizing chart has a bit of overlapping and I was in between sizes, so I ordered the larger to be safe and that was a mistake. So if you are like me I suggest you go with the smaller size for the fit but I am not sure how that would affect the "blackout" nature of these tights if there are stretched out to far. The pair now are great other than a little extra tight I fold over my toes. I love the color and they truly are "blackout". I will definitely be ordering again. The only other issue I have is that I ordered these to wear with a specific outfit on a specific date. When they arrived they had a very strong chemical smell to them. I let them air out of a few days and it still did not go away. I finally decided to throw them in the washing machine, at the last minute so I could wear them, in a bag for delicates. The smell was not completely gone but barely noticeable and it turned my delicates bag a dirty orange from the color transfer...you have been warned!

I am a huge fan of these tights. The waistband is not too tight, so they don't pinch. They are quite thick and are very very cozy material. I always buy tights in one size too large on the theory that they'll stay opaque through more washes and will last longer. I bought these tights too large, and they are pretty big -- so if you are like me and usually size up on tights, I'd actually recommend that you buy your regular/ recommended tights here.I have generally been a huge fan of Assets tights and bought those almost exclusively. But I'm happy enough with these -- and they are much easier to find -- that I think I'll be buying Hue tights when it's time to refresh my supply.The first time I wore them, there was some static. I rubbed some lotion on my hands and patted that on the tights, which took care of the static cling. Now I just wash them in a mesh bag and hang dry - super easy!

Just tried it on. Small is long enough for someone 5’5” or very heavy shorter person. I’m 4’11” and 107 lbs

I haven't worn these yet, but I did try them on, and they're a perfect fit. At 5'7", 135 lbs (with long legs), I was a little hesitant to buy a size 2 out of 5, thinking they could be too small or short. But thanks to other reviewers' comments, I chose the right size, and they fit perfectly! How they will hold up is yet to be seen!

I bought these hoping they would cover my tattoos for work. I work in a very conservative business. So if your looking for blackout coverage these aren’t it. They did a good job camouflaging them, at first I thought these would work as some were not visible. But if your legs are heavily tattooed these aren’t the answer. Other then that the tights were great fit and comfortable, but I will be returning them since I only bought them for work.

I have had these tights for a few years now and they are incredible! I never write reviews, but yesterday I broke a nail in the tights, and there wasn’t even a pull in the material 🥳🤯❤️ Best. Tights. Ever.

Grandeur parfaite et opaque; parfait!

The tights fit really well, the feet are a bit big for me but I have small feet. I highly recommend these tights for anyone.
