Battery has become useless

Of course, it was GOOD; when I received it. Since then; I did not use the camera "THAT MUCH" and now I find the Battery is not accepting charge. How long the "seller" consider, this Battery to have a LIFE ?Please le me know.Besides, I believe the "batteries" remain, in the warehouse, for a long time and become outdated.

Battery Charges do not last long

I am constantly (re)charging these batteries. I have about 8 - so that I can rotate them for use - in between charges.
