some of the packages the components were discolored but everything else worked and came in great condition. And the kit is very useful for beginners but if you will definitely need a book to go more in depth once you've finished this kit or simply as a reference. The only real downside was the battery pack sometimes doesn't work due to its poor wiring. Overall it's a good investment

My daughter is an EE major who's going into her second year. She just pulled the set out that I'd gotten her some time back and decided to start on some projects. It's frustrating her to no end...the wires are breaking, pieces are separating, the connectors are flimsy, and the ends won't slot into the breadboard without bending or breaking. She told me that if this is what it's going to be like, she's going to reconsider her major. Even the pictures on the box have bent-up wires! **addendum** Sparkle Labs replaced a faulty speaker and sent extra parts. She's had better luck since.

It's an Arduino kit. If that's what you're looking for, this one is as good as any other.

Ok product with terrible videos. If you already have a knowledge base it might be ok. But the videos jump around from subject to subject. Why not have the video laid out in a linear fashion where video 2 uses the knowledge learned in video 1? Why not have the video on Multimeters use be next in the series, use the LED circuit you already build in the last lesson and why not show the Multimeter and how to use it instead of just showing us the results.You really have to go out and do your own research to find videos that explain what is being shown here.
